تاملي در مفهوم دانشگاه سازگار شونده

Reflection on the Concept of the Adaptive University

مفهوم دانشگاه سازگار شونده، به مسئله ارتباط دانشگاه و محيط با توجه به تغييرات قصد شده و نيز نوپديد مي­ پردازد تا از طريق ايجاد تعادل پويا ماندگاري دانشگاه را در بستر تغييرات ممكن سازد. دانشگاه‌ها نمي‌توانند زندگي پويايي داشته باشند اگر تغييرات را صرفاً از منظر خواسته‌ها و مأموريت‌هاي تعيين‌شده از بالا به پايين بخواهند. هر دانشگاهي براي اينكه در بستر تغييرات و پويايي جوامع علمي بقاي خود را حفظ كند، نيازمند نوآوري و رويكردهاي اصيل در سازمان دانشگاه است. چگونه اين امر ممكن مي‌شود؟ آيا پويايي دروني در كنار پويايي كه در سيستم‌هاي پيراموني وجود دارد لازمه­ ي اين كار نيست؟ دانشگاه سازماني زنده و سيستمي پويا است كه براي تداوم زندگي خود بايد تلاشي برخوردار از توان سازگار شوندگي داشته باشد. ولي سازگار شوندگي به چه معني است؟ چگونه از طريق اين جريان، بقاي دانشگاه ،در بستر تغييرات درون و برون دانشگاه ، ممكن مي‌شود؟ آيا اين بقا به‌صورت خودكار تداوم مي‌يابد، يا تنها لحظه‌اي در حيات دانشگاه است كه در جريان ارتباطات سيستم دانشگاهي با محيط خود مي­تواند به وجود آيد؟ مقاله حاضر با بهره‌گيري از پژوهش‌هاي مختلف در آموزش عالي ايران و نيز مشاهدات نگارنده در دانشگاه‌هاي ديگر در سال‌هاي مختلف (مونترال٬مك گيل٬تورنتو٬شربروك، نانتر، ليل...) با طرح اين پرسش‌ها به بررسي مفهوم دانشگاه‌هاي سازگار شونده مي‌پردازد.

The concept of the adaptive university addresses the problem of the relationship between the university and the environment by considering the changes that are required and emerging in order to create the dynamic equilibrium for the university's existence within changes. University can not have a dynamic life if the changes are only the top-down demands and missions assigned by the high leaders of the university. Each university needs innovations and original approaches in order to keep its survival, within the changes and dynamism of the scientific societies. How is it possible? Does not it need internal dynamism besides the dynamism of the surrounding systems? The university is a living organization and a dynamic system and so it must be adaptive for its survival and also its progress. But what is the adaption? How the survival and development of the university can be possible within the internal and external changes? Are they automatic or only a moment in life? This article reflects on these questions and presents some principles for adaptive universities by the study of scientific researches and the author’s observations in other universities (Montreal, Toronto, McGill, Sherbrook…) in different years.
