Military Site Selection of Deployment of Combat Service Supporting Units through Utilizing FIS in Nasrabad Region in Isfahan Province

توجه به مكان گزيني در يگان هاي نظامي، از موضوعات اساسي طراحان نظامي به منظور كاهش تلفات انساني و تسليحاتي است. لجستيك به عنوان يكي از اركان اصلي درگيري هاي نظامي و در واقع ستون فقرات تمامي جنگ ها شناخته مي شود. يكي از مهم ترين عوامل در طراحي لجستيكي، تعيين كانون، تمركز و مكان يابي آن است. سامانه اطلاعات جغرافيايي با توان پردازشي بالا و مديريت حجم بالاي اطلاعات، فرماندهان و طراحان اين عمليات را ياري مي نمايد. هدف از اين پژوهش، شناسايي مناطق مستعد استقرار واحدهاي آمادي در رزم جلو قبل از حضور فيزيكي، با استفاده از سامانه اطلاعات جغرافيايي و تصميم گيري چندمعياره فازي است. به همين منظور، عواملي از قبيل شيب، زهكشي، ديد و اختفاء، خاك، كاربري اراضي، خطوط مواصلاتي، نزديكي به يگان هاي مانوري، سازندها، نزديكي به مناطق فرود بالگرد و فاصله از توپخانه سبك دشمن مورد بررسي قرار گرفت. پس از آماده سازي داده ها، عمليات فازي سازي انجام و در ادامه با معرفي قوانين مورد نظر كارشناسي در محيط متلب به صورت نظام فازي، الگو سازي شد. در نهايت با غير فازي كردن اين مجموعه، خروجي نهايي آماده و وارد محيط GIS گرديد. نتايج پژوهش با توجه به بازديدهاي ميداني انجام شده، نشان مي دهد كه محدوده هاي پايكوهي، نيمه مرتفع و مناطقي كه از نظر ژئومورفولوژي نظامي حائز اهميت و مطابق ملاحظات اين يگان هاست به خوبي استخراج گرديده است و GIS با تلفيق روش هاي تصميم گيري چندمعياره، مي تواند جهت انجام تحليل هاي نظامي با دقت مناسب، به منظور كاهش هزينه، زمان و تلفات، موثر واقع گردد.

As a damage and casualty-alleviating measure, military site selection is among the key issues for military men and is of crucial significance for the military commanders. Logistic is taken as the most fundamental pillar for every military conflict and also known as the backbone of all warfare. Site selection and concentration are among the most important factors in any logistic designing. High capabilities of geographical information system including high-level of processing and managing the useful information helps planners and commanders in various stages of operational analysis. This study was an attempt to identify the suitable and appropriate sites for deployment of logistic units in front of martial and battlefield prior to any physical intervention by utilizing GIS and fuzzy multi-criteria decision making procedure. To do so, the region was checked in terms of slope, drainage, observation, concealment, soil, land utilities, road, and proximity to maneuvering units, structure, proximity to helicopter landing sites and distance from light artillery units of the enemy. Having collected the data and merging them based on fuzzy system, the fuzzy modeling operations were run in a MATLAB environment through applying the principles. Thereupon final output was obtained through defuzzification process and then run in GIS environment. According to the field assessment, the findings revealed that the foothill zones and areas, mountainous semi-high areas and militarily geomorphologically significance regions have been extracted successfully and it confirmed that the role of GIS and its integration into multi-criteria decision making procedures in running military analysis was effective in reducing expenditure, time and casualties
