Centaurea patula، گونه‌اي فراموش‌شده از تيرۀ مركبان براي فلور ايران

Centaurea patula (Asteraceae), A Forgotten Species for the Flora of Iran

جنس Centaurea يكي از بزرگ‌ترين و پيچيده‌ترين تاكسون‌هاي تيرۀ مركبان (Asteraceae) در جهان است كه عمدتاً در اروپا، منطقۀ مديترانه و جنوب‌غرب آسيا پراكنش دارد. چندنيايي‌بودن اين جنس سبب شده است به‌تازگي اين تاكسون به چند جنس تك‌نيا تقسيم شود. Centaurea حدود 109 گونه و 31 بخش در ايران دارد كه در بيشتر مناطق كشور حضور دارند. پژوهش حاضر، حاصل مطالعۀ تاكسونوميكي دقيق گونه‌هاي بخش Ammocyanus در هرباريوم‌هاي مختلف است. در مطالعۀ حاضر مشخص شد دو محل تيپ در پروتولوگ گونۀ C. patula مشخص شده‌اند كه يكي از آنها به ايران مربوط است؛ اين در حاليست كه در فلورا ايرانيكا، اشاره‌اي به اين گونه نشده و درحقيقت، C. patula گونه‌اي فراموش‌شده براي فلور ايران است؛ بنابراين در پژوهش حاضر، C. patula دوباره گونه‌اي موجود براي فلور ايران مطرح شد و براي جلوگيري از ابهام در كاربرد آن، گونۀ يادشده تيپ‌بندي و تصوير لكتوتيپ آن ارائه شد.

Centaurea is one of the most complex and largest genera of the family Asteraceae in the World. It is mainly distributed in Europe, the Mediterranean region, and southwest Asia. This genus is polyphyletic and has recently been divided into some monophyletic genera. In Iran, Centaurea contains 109 species in 31 sections that are present in most parts of the country. This research is the result of exact taxonomic study of species of the section Ammocyanus in different herbaria. During this study, it was found that two syntypes collections were cited for C. patula protologue that one of them is attributed to Iran. However, there is no mention of this species in Flora Iranica and in fact C. patula is a forgotten species for Iranian flora. So, C. patula is treated in this study as an existing taxon for the flora of Iran. To clarify the application of this name, it was thus typified and its lectotype image was presented.
