Two Decades with Sectoral Innovation Systems: The Traveled Path and The Horizons Ahead

ريشه هاي مفهوم سيستم هاي بخشي نوآوري به مطالعاتي بازمي گردد كه حدود سه دهۀ پيش انتشار يافته اند. اما اين مفهوم حدود دو دهۀ پيش به طور جدي معرفي شده و از آن زمان به بعد، با روندي افزايشي، در صنايع متنوع و در كشورهاي توسعه يافته و درحال توسعه به كار رفته است. با اين حال، تاكنون مطالعۀ نظام مندي در زمينۀ پيشينۀ پژوهشي سيستم هاي بخشي نوآوري صورت نگرفته است. در اين مقاله، با مطالعۀ 76 مقالۀ منتخب، به مرورِ نظام مند پيشينۀ اين نوع پژوهش طي دو دهۀ اخير پرداخته ايم. بدين منظور، در كنار مروري بر مفهوم، ويژگي ها و مؤلفه هاي سيستم هاي نوآوري بخشي، برخي آمارهاي توصيف مرتبط با مقالات منتخب را ارائه داده ايم. به علاوه، مطالعات انجام شده را بر اساس سطح توسعه يافتگي جوامع دسته بندي كرده ايم و در ادامه به ارائۀ دسته بندي موضوعي از مطالعات صورت گرفته پرداخته ايم كه مشتمل بر مفاهيم همپايي فناورانه، پنجره هاي فرصت، كالاهاي سرمايه اي و محصولات و سامانه هاي پيچيده، و گذار به رهبري بازار در اقتصادهاي نوظهور است.

The concept of sectoral innovation systems is rooted in studies that have been published about three decades ago. But, this concept was introduced seriously around two decades ago and after that, it has been increasingly employed in a diverse range of industries within developed and developing countries. However, it has not conducted and systematic review of sectoral innovation systems literature. So, current paper has conducted a systematic review of sectoral innovation systems body of knowledge through studying 76 selected papers in this field. To this end, this paper presented some descriptive statistics about selected paper beside review of definitions, concepts, characteristics, and components of sectoral innovation systems. In addition, this paper classified selected paper based on the level of development of studied countries. Furthermore, this paper proposes a thematic classification of previous studies that includes concepts such as technological catch-up, windows of opportunity, capital goods, and complex product systems, and the transition to market leadership in emerging economies.
