نظريه‌هاي روان‌شناختي و سياسي رسالت فهم رفتارهاي فردي و جمعي را در متن زندگي سياسي برعهده دارند. در طول دو دهة گذشته تحليل ابعاد روان‌شناختي - روان‌كاوانة سياست با محوريت اين بحث كه چگونه مي‌توان دربارة ارتباط و تعامل سياست و روان‌شناسي سخن گفت، مورد توجه بسياري از پژوهش‌گران قرار گرفته است. در اين ميان، ژاك لاكان يكي از برجسته‌ترين روان‌كاواني است كه تلاش كرده است پلي ميان مسائل روان‌شناختي و فلسفه و انسان‌شناسي و زبان‌شناسي بزند و مي‌توان برخي دلالت‌ها را براي پيوند وجوه روان‌شناختي و سياست در دستگاه فكري او يافت. پرسش اصلي مقاله اين است كه چگونه مي‌توان خوانشي سياسي از ايده‌هاي ژاك لاكان داشت. پي‌آمدهاي تحليلي پيوند روان‌شناسي و امر سياسي در نظرية لاكان چه خواهد بود. پاسخ اين است كه نظرية روان‌شناختـي - سياسي لاكان ازطريق بحث دربارة امر واقعي و امر نمادين، دانش و تجربه، و امر سياسي و امر اجتماعي ازيك‌سو، محدوديت‌ها را مشخص مي‌كند و ازطرف‌ديگر، امكانات خلاقانه‌اي را پيش‌روي ما مي‌نهد. اين حوزه‌اي از تنش و امكانات و محدوديت‌ها و آرزو‌هاست. محور اصلي اين مقاله معرفي و نقد و ارزيابي كتاب لاكان و امر سياسي است.

Psychological and political theories are the mission of understanding individual and collective behaviors in the context of political life. Over the past two decades, the analysis of the psychoanalytic dimensions of politics with the focus of this discussion on how to talk about the relationship between politics and psychology has attracted many scholars. Meanwhile, Jacques Lacan is one of the most prominent psychoanalysts who tried to bridge psychological and philosophical issues, anthropology and linguistics, and some implications could be found for linking psychological aspects and politics to his intellectual system. The main questions of the article include how can a political reading of Jacques Lacan's ideas be? And, what will be the analytical implications of the link between psychology and politics in Lacan's theory? The answer is that the Lacan political-psychological theory, through the discussion of the real and symbolic, knowledge and experience, the political and social, on the one hand, sets limits, and on the other hand, brings us innovative possibilities. These are areas of tension and facilities, limitations and aspirations. The main focus of this paper is to introduce, criticize, and evaluate Lacan and the political book.
