Islamic culture in opposition to cultural relativism

نسبيت فرهنگي به معناي ارزشمند بودن همه فرهنگ‌ها و اعتقاد به اين كه فرهنگ‌ها قياس ناپذيرند؛ زيرا شرايطي كه فرهنگ‌ها در قالب آنها شكل مي‌گيرند متفاوت هستند؛ پس فرهنگ هيچ ملتي با فرهنگ ديگر ملل قابل قياس نيست. نقطه مقابل نسبيت فرهنگي، قوم مداري است كه اعتقاد به برتري فرهنگ خود بر ديگر فرهنگ‌ها دارد.موضوع اين مقاله، تبيين نظري و راستي‌آزمايي نسبيت فرهنگي از منظر گزاره‌هاي دين مبين اسلام است.سوال اصلي پژوهش اين است كه آيا مي‌توان براي فرهنگ‌ها معيار و ميزاني در جهت راستي و درستي يا ناراستي و نادرستي در نظر گرفت و آيا همه فرهنگ‌ها از سطح ارزشمندي يكساني برخوردار هستند؟ در اين نوشتار با توجه به موضوع تحقيق، روش تحقيق به صورت مطالعه كتابخانه‌اي دنبال شده و موضوع بحث با روش توصيفي و تحليلي مورد بررسي قرار مي‌گيرد. نگارنده ضمن تبيين معتقدات نسبي‌گرايان، با استفاده از آيات قرآن راه سومي را معلوم نموده است كه نه نسبيت‌گرايي مطلق است و نه قوم مداري مطلق. از منظر قرآن حق‌مداري مطرح است و لذا در برخي امور اطلاق حاكم و بر برخي امور نسبيت جاري است.

Cultural relativity means that all of the cultures are valuable and also refers to the belief based on which the cultures are incomparable, since the conditions in which the cultures are formed are different. Therefore, the culture of no nation is comparable with the culture of other nations. The antithesis of cultural relativity is ethnicity which believes in the superiority of its own culture over the other cultures. The subject of this paper is theoretical clarification and validity testing of cultural relativity in view of the principles of the Islam true religion. The main question of this research is that whether a criterion and standard can be considered for the cultures in terms of the truth and correctness or falsity and incorrectness and also all of the cultures enjoy the same level of valuation or not. Considering the research topic in this study, the research method is followed in a library-based manner and the topic of discussion is examined by the descriptive and analytical method. while clarifying the beliefs of relativists is considered absolute relativism nor absolute ethnicity, but it is right-orientation in Qur'an's view and so absoluteness governs in some affairs and relativity in some others.
