Brick and Art of Brickwork since Ancient times to Now

در هنر آجركاري معماران خوش‌ذوق، گلچين‌ها و نقوش بسيار زيبا و دل‌نشيني را خلق كرده‌اند كه برخي از آن‌ها از گنجينة‌ هنرهاي بس عميق معماري تا به امروز براي ما به ميراث باقي مانده است. نقوش و گلچين‌هاي بسيار شگرف از حركات و نقوش آجري و شيوه‌هاي اجرايي، تنوع و روش‌هاي ارزش‌مندي را از گذشتگان به جا گذاشته كه مي‌تواند براي نماسازي ساختمان‌هاي امروزي مورد استفاده قرار گيرد. اين امر باعث مي‌شودد تحوّلي ريشه‌اي در زمينة ارتقاي فرهنگ غني معماري ايران به وجود آيد. هدف از نگارش اين مقاله، در مرحله اول بيان چگونگي روند توليد آجر و انواع آن و نيز بررسي تزئينات آجري در معماري اسلامي ايران بوده است. در اين نوشتار از روش كيفي توصيفي و تحليل محتوا بهره گرفته شده است. به اين صورت كه نخست بر اساس مطالعات كتابخانه‌اي و مشاهدة ميداني در زمينه‌هاي مختلف، مصالح‌شناسي، هنر تزيينات در معماري دورة اسلامي، تكنيك‌هاي اجرايي در مصالح سنتي، هم‌چنين استفاده تجربي از مطالب نظري و اجراييِ ميداني، به خصوص پيگيري آموزه‌هاي استادان بزرگ گذشته به جمع‌آوري داده‌ها و برخي اصول زيبايي‌شناسي دورة اسلامي ايراني در زمينة آجركاري در جهت شناسايي و شناخت مخاطبان به درك هرچه بيش‌تر اشتراكات كالبدي و تزيينات كارشده در معماري دوره اسلامي پرداخته شده است. از اين رو، استنتاج تحليلي و تجربي تزيينات وابسته به آجركاري معماري دورة اسلامي در كنار همديگر، به شكل مجموعه واحد در زمينة شناخت اين هنر، انواع آن در روش اجرا و هنرهاي وابسته به آن تدوين شده است.

The talented architects of the brickwork art have created beautiful and eye-catching floral and geometrical patterns, some of which comprising now the profound legacy of architectural arts of the country. The excellent designs and patterns of brickwork and their techniques have left us a variety of valuable methods from the past that can create a very deep Iranian cultural dimension in the façade of modern buildings; an evolutionary work in promoting the rich culture of Iranian architecture. The aim of present paper is first, to elaborate the production of bricks and its types, and second, to discuss brick decorations and brick art in the Iranian Islamic architecture. In this study, a qualitative content analysis method is used. Therefore, by the study of library references and observations in different fields including materials science, art of decorations in the Islamic architecture, techniques in using traditional materials; and the empirical use of theoretical and practical field materials—in particular, following the teachings of the great past masters—data were collected and the aesthetic principles of the Iranian Islamic period in the field of brickwork were identified to introduce them to the audience and understand more about the physical and decorative principles of Islamic architecture. Therefore, an empirical and analytical study of brick decorations of Islamic architecture has been formulated as a collection of the basics, methods, and related arts of brickwork in Iran. Research Questions: 1- How do executive decorations and methods in today constructivist building façade act? 2- How much do extensions of brickwork decorations and its outlet have desirability in today architecture?
