بررسي ارتباط بلوغ عاطفي مادربا اضطراب كودكان حين درمان‌هاي معمول دندانپزشكي

The Correlation between Mother’s Emotional Maturation with Children’s Anxiety During Routine Dental Procedures

سابقه و هدف: ميزان اضطراب كودكان 3-6 ساله در هنگام دريافت مداخلات دندانپزشكي در ميزان همكاري با پزشك و كيفيت خدمات ارائه شده موثر است و نوع رفتار و ميزان اضطراب كودكان شايد در ارتباط با مسائل روحي و رواني مادرانشان باشد هدف از اين مطالعه بررسي ارتباط بلوغ عاطفي مادر با اضطراب و رفتار كودكان 6-3 ساله حين درمانهاي معمول دندان پزشكي بود مواد و روش ها: اين مطالعه از نوع توصيفي-مقطعي بود و 70 نفر از كودكان 3-6 ساله مراجعه كننده به بخش كودكان دانشكده دندانپزشكي تبريز مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند در انتخاب كودكان سن و عدم تجربه مراجعه قبلي مورد توجه قرار گرفت. اضطراب كودكان با استفاده از مقياس venham و ارزيابي رفتار كودك حين درمان دندانپزشكي با استفاده از شاخص فرانكل مورد سنجش قرار گرفته است. همچنين قبل از شروع درمان دندانپزشكي ، پرسشنامه هاي مربوط به بلوغ عاطفي وPTSD توسط مادر كودك تكميل گرديد.در نهايت رابطه بين بلوغ عاطفي مادر با رفتار و اضطراب كودك توسط آزمون ضريب همبستگي پيرسون در سطح معناداري 05/. مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرار گرفت. يافته ها: دو نتيجه مهم از اين مطالعه بدست آمد.اول اينكه بلوغ عاطفي مادر با رفتار كودك در محيط دندانپزشكي ارتباط معناداري ندارد.همچنين در بررسي‌هاي انجام شده رابطه معناداري بين بلوغ عاطفي مادر و اضطراب كودك در محيط دندانپزشكي مشاهده نشد. نتيجه گيري: بلوغ عاطفي مادران در مجموع در سطح طبيعي بوده و به نظر نمي‌رسد كه ميزان بلوغ عاطفي مادر ارتباط مستقيمي با رفتار كودك و اضطراب او در محيط دندانپزشكي داشته باشد.

Background and aim: The level of anxiety in 3-6 year old children when receiving dental care, is effective in compliance of the patients and the quality of the received care. The behavior and level of anxiety of children may be associated with their mothers’ psychological status. In this study, the relationship between the mothers’ emotional maturation and the anxiety and behavior of 3-6-year-old children during routine dental treatments was investigated. Material and methods: The current investigation was a cross section-descriptive study. Seventy patients aged 3-6 years old referring to pediatric dentistry ward of Tabriz dental school in 2015 were studied. In selection of the children, the age and lack of previous dental encounter was considered. The patients’ anxiety during dental treatment was assessed by evaluating the child’s behavior by venham scale utilizing frankel index. Before initiation of dental treatment, questionnaires regarding emotional maturation and PTSD was filled by the mothers. At the end, the relationship between mothers’ emotional maturation and the child’s behavior and anxiety was analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient test with 0.05 significance level under SPSS 16 software. Results: The current study revealed two main findings. Firstly, the mothers’ emotional maturity did not have a statistically significant relationship with child’s behavior in dental environment. Also the mother’s emotional maturation did not have a statistically significant relationship with child’s anxiety in dental environment. Conclusions:The emotional maturation of mothers was generally at normal level and there does not seem to be a direct relationship between mothers’ level of emotional maturity and child’s behavior and anxiety in the dental environment.
