زمينه و هدف: مدرسه به عنوان يكي از مهمترين مكانهاي رشد و پروش فكري افراد ميباشد كه تاثير آن در همه دوران زندگي تحصيلي و تخصصي افراد قابل رويت است. اين مطالعه با هدف بررسي وضعيت بهداشت محيط و ايمني مدارس شهر تربت حيدريه انجام شد.
روشها: مطالعه حاضر به صورت مقطعي بر روي 68 مدرسه ابتدايي شهر تربت حيدريه كه بر حسب جنسيت و دولتي و غير دولتي بودن تفكيك شدهاند، در سال 96-1395 انجام گرديد. اطلاعات با استفاده از چك ليست استاندارد وزارت بهداشت از طريق مشاهده ميداني و مصاحبه با مسئولين مدرسه بدست آمد. داده هاي توصيفي با نرم افزار Excel نسخه 2010 و تجزيه و تحليل آماري با SPSS نسخه 22 انجام شد. آناليزهاي آماري كاي دو و تست دقيق فيشر به منظور تحليل متغيرها استفاده گرديد.
نتايج: نتايج مطالعه نشان داد كه به طور كلي از نظر وضعيت سه گانه مدارس (ضعيف، متوسط و مطلوب) تمام مدارس در سطح متوسط و مطلوب بودند. به ترتيب در مدارس دولتي و غيردولتي 47/4% و 36/4% در سطح متوسط و 52/6% و 63/6% در سطح مطلوب گزارش شد. به طور كلي بين وضعيت بهداشت محيط مدارس دولتي و غيردولتي و دخترانه و پسرانه ارتباط معني داري وجود نداشت (0/05

Background & Aim: School is one of the most important places for people’s
mental development the effects of which can be observed through everyone’s
educational and professional life. This study investigated the health and safety
status in elementary schools of Torbat Heydariyeh City.
Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out in 2016-17
on 68 elementary schools in Torbat Heydariyeh City, which were categorized
based on gender and being governmental or non-governmental. Information
was collected through field surveys and interviews with school officials and
using a standard checklist provided by Ministry of Health. Descriptive data
were analyzed using MS Office’ s Excel version 2010 and statistical analysis
was performed by SPSS version 22. Chi-square and Fisher's exact test were
used to analyze the variable.
Results: Our results showed that based on the defined triple levels for
schools, i.e. poor, moderate and desirable, the analyzed schools were
categorized as moderate or desirable.-. Accordingly, 47.4% and 36.4%, of
public and non-governmental schools were found to be in moderate level; and
52.6% and 63.6% of them were in desirable level, respectively. In general, we
found no significant difference in the health status of the schools when
analyzed based on the administration type (governmental and none) or gender
(male vs. female).
Conclusion: Considering the presented results and the importance of
elementary schools as the first post-family community for the students, the
efforts of the institutions involved in education with the aim of establishing
maximum health requirements are essential.
