چكيده فارسي :
جانمايۀ اين مقاله دو مسألۀ بنيادين در تمدن اسلامي است: نخست اينكه ما در توصيف انگاره‌هاي بنيادين حوزۀ شهرسازي كمتر به ويژگي‌هاي سنتي خود پرداخته‌ايم و شناخت اين انگاره‌ها را با توجه به اين قبيل مباحث در غرب آغاز كرده‌ايم و ديگر اينكه، اساساً مقولۀ «عموميت فضاهاي شهري» در سال‌هاي اخير به صورت روز افزون مورد توجه و محل مناقشه بوده است. بر اين پايه، پژوهش حاضر به شيوۀ توصيفي ـ تحليلي و مقايسه‌اي و با اين پرسش اصلي انجام شده است كه عامل‌هاي اصلي سازندۀ عموميت فضاها در شهرهاي ايراني ـ اسلامي و شهرهاي غربي كدامند و چه تفاوت‌هايي با يكديگر دارند؟ يافته‌هاي اين پژوهش نشان مي‌دهد كه مهم‌ترين عامل‌هاي سازندۀ عموميت فضاهاي شهري، گرچه در چند دهه اخير مبتني بر ويژگي‌هاي جوامع غربي و در فرهنگ غربي شكل گرفته، از سده‌ها پيش در شهرهاي سنتي ايراني ـ اسلامي با جزئيات بيشتري بر آن تأكيد و اجرا مي‌شده است.
چكيده لاتين :
The main subject of this article is about two basic issues. Firstly, in finding the basic concepts of urban spaces planning and design, we have rarely been focusing on the characteristics of our traditional cities, and we began to recognize these concepts from Western literature. Secondly, the publicness of urban spaces has been increasingly noticed and challenged by scholars in recent years. Accordingly, and considering the necessity of providing an understanding of the status of the publicness of urban spaces in Iranian cities based on recent discussions, this research is carried out in a descriptive-analytical and comparative method. The main question of this research is that what are the main components of the publicness of urban spaces in Iranian-Islamic cities and western cities, and what are the differences? The findings of this research show that the most basic components of the publicness of urban spaces that have been mentioned in the western literature over the past few decades have existed centuries ago in traditional Iranian-Islamic cities and have been emphasized and implemented even in more detail.
