دنياي عرفان، مملو از تقابل­ هاست؛ اين عناصر متقابل كه برگرفته از ويژگيِ كلِ هستي و جلوه­ هاي متفاوت آن و نيز حالات و تجربيات روحاني شديد و متفاوت عرفا در شرايط روحي مختلف مي­ باشد، زبان عرفان را براي بيان اين حالت متناقض، به سوي تقابل سو ق داده ­است. حيرت و يقين، از جمله تقابل­هاي عرفاني و يكي از مراحل سير و سلوك عارفانه است كه در آثار شعرا و عرفا به ­گونه ­هاي مختلف تجلّي يافته ­است. عطار نيز به­ عنوان شاعري عارف، با كوله ­باري سرشار از تجارب عرفاني اين دو موضوع مهم را به­ گونه­ اي صريح و روشن در آثارش منعكس كرده است. اين مقاله كوشيده است تقابل حيرت و يقين را در انواع غزليات عطار به تصوير بكشد. حاصل جستجو اين است كه نزد عطار، حيرت و يقين داراي حركتي دايره­ وار است كه در سير از يقين به حيرت، يقين حاصل شده براي عارف، در نهايت او را به حيرت مي­كشاند. زيرا، آخرين مرتبة يقين الهي، اعتراف به حيرت در برابر آن هستي مطلق و بي­بديل مي­ باشد. داده­ هاي پژوهش به شيوة كتابخانه ­اي گرد آمده و با روش تحليلي و توصيفي پردازش شده است.

Also upon Attar`s opinion, to reach mystic manner, the acquired certainty as result of bewilderment Eventually will astonish the gnostic, because, the last step to divinely certainty is confession to Bewilderment by absolute and incomparable God.
