اهميت خاطره جمعي به اندازه اي است كه برخي خاطرات جمعي را مصداق تاريخ يك جامعه مي­دانند، خاطره جمعي در تلاقي سه مفهوم مكان، زمان و رويداد جمعي شكل مي­ گيريد، بنابراين شهرها مي­ توانند بستري براي شكل گيري خاطرات جمعي باشند، اما امروزه فضاهاي شهري به گونه ­اي است كه المان هايي كه خاطرات جمعي را يادآوري مي كنند روز به روز كمتر مي شوند، در اين فضا رسانه ­هاي جمعي مي ­توانند كالبدي براي برساخته شدن و بازتوليد خاطرات جمعي باشند، هدف اين پژوهش مطالعه نقش اينترنت در تغيير خاطرات جمعي در شهر تهران است، به عبارتي سوالات پژوهش عبارتند از: مطابق نظر كاربران تهراني، اينترنت باعث چه تغييراتي در مفهوم خاطره جمعي مي شود؟ آيا نمود خاطرات در فضاي مجازي مي تواند باعث تقويت بعد هويت شهري انان شود؟ براي پاسخ به اين سوالات با استفاده از روش مصاحبه عمقي با 28 نفر از دانشجويان تهراني دانشگاه تهران مصاحبه عمقي انجام شده است، يافته هاي تحقيق حكايت از آن دارد كه در عصر اينترنت با تغييراتي چون فرامكاني شدن، فرا زماني شدن، سهولت در اجتماعي شدن، افزايش دوام و ماندگاري خاطرات جمعي مواجه مي­شويم و البته از نظر مصاحبه شوندگان فضاي مجازي به عنوان بستري براي خاطرات جمعي هم مي­تواند باعث تقويت خصلت مدنيت شهر شود و هم باعث بازتوليد خاطره تخاصم­ هاي گروهي و سياسي شود، در نهايت بايد گفت مصاحبه شوندگان نقش فضاي مجازي در بازتوليد و برساختن خاطرات را باعث تقويت هويت شهري خود مي دانستند.

Collective memory is formed by the intersection of three concepts of place, time and collective event, so cities can be a platform for the formation of collective memories. But today, urban spaces are becoming so smaller that the elements that recall collective memories are becoming less and less. In this space, mass media can be a body for the construction and reproduction of collective memories. The role of the Internet in changing collective memories in Tehran, in other words, research questions are: According to Tehran users What changes does the Internet make to the concept of mass memory? Can the display of memories in cyberspace strengthen the dimension of their urban identity? To answer these questions, in-depth interviews were conducted with 28 Tehran students from the University of Tehran using the method of in-depth interviews. , We see an increase in the durability and longevity of collective memories, and of course, for cyberspace interviewees, as a platform for collective memories, it can both strengthen the civic character of the city and reproduce the memory of group and political conflicts. It should be noted that the interviewees strengthened the role of cyberspace in reproducing and constructing memories They knew their city.
