چكيده فارسي :
يكي از سياست‌هاي استعمار براي به استثمار كشيدن ملت‌ها، تخريب ذهنيت جامعه نسبت به رهبران قيام‌ها و مبارزاني است كه در راه استقلال كشور پايداري كرده‌اند. چنين سياستي نيز در ايران، بسيار نمود دارد ازجمله كساني كه به تخريب شخصيت وي پرداخته شده، آيت‌الله شيخ فضل‌الله نوري است كه در مواجهه با نفوذ استعمار در دوران مشروطه بسيار مبارزه نمود و نماد مقاومت انگاشته مي‌شد. مسئله پژوهش حاضر، عمدتاً به نوع ادبيات تاريخ‌نگاري غربي‌ها و جريان همسو با غرب به شيخ فضل‌الله و شيوه مبارزات ايشان در جنبش مشروطه مي‌پردازد. يافته‌هاي تحقيق نمايانگر آن است كه هجمه‌هاي اين‌گونه از مورخين نسبت به شيخ فضل‌الله با اتهام به رشوه‌گيري، محافظه‌كاري و استبدادخواهي به دنبال نفي رهبري ايشان در مبارزه با جريان استعمار در تاريخ است. نوشتار حاضر بر آن است تا با روش توصيفي و تحليلي، بر پايه نگاهي بر منابع نوشته‌شده به‌وسيله اين جريان تاريخ‌نگار، به بررسي شخصيت شيخ فضل‌الله در آثار آنها بپردازد.
چكيده لاتين :
One of the policies of colonialism to exploit nations is to destroy the mentality of society against the leaders of the uprisings and the movements for the independence of the state. Such a policy has been widely used in Iran also as the one in the case of Sheikh Fazlollah Noori for destroying his personality, a religious outstanding who fought hard against colonial influence in the constitutional era and was considered as a symbol of resistance. The present study mainly deals with the style of Western historiographcal literature and its followers as viewed on Sheikh Fazlallah and his style of struggle in the constitutional movement. The findings show that such historiographers have opposed Sheikh Fazlollah`s leadership in the fight against colonialism with such charges as bribery, conservatism and despotism. The present article seeks to examine the personality of Sheikh Fazlollah in their works through a descriptive and analytical approach, based on the sources written by this historiographical process.
