Relationship between Social Capital and the Components of Professional Ethics of Faculty Members

زمينه‌: مهترين بعد شناخته شده حرفه‌گرايي در اعضاي هيأت علمي دانشگاه، اخلاق حرفه‌اي است. اخلاق حرفه‌اي در دانشگاه، مجموعه‌اي از اصول اخلاقي و استانداردهاي سلوك است كه رفتار اعضاي اين نهاد را تعيين مي‌كند. در واقع، اخلاق حرفه‌اي دانشگاهي، يك فرايند تفكر عقلاني است كه هدف آن محقق كردن ارزش‌هاي علمي در اجتماع علمي و چگونگي حفظ و اشاعه آن مي‌باشد. روش‌: پژوهش حاضر تركيبي از روش همبستگي و پس رويدادي است و جامعه آماري آن كليه اعضا محترم هيات علمي دانشگاه هاي سراسر كشور بوده است كه از اين جامعه آماري 435 عضو هيات علمي به عنوان نمونه با استفاده از روش نمونه گيري طبقه اي تصادفي انتخاب شده است‌. ابزار پژوهش‌، پرسشنامه محقق ساخته مشتمل بر 7 مولفه و 30 گويه مي‌باشد. تجزيه و تحليل داده ها به كمك آمار توصيفي و استنباطي ( آزمون همبستگي پيرسون و اسپيرمن، آزمون مدل‌يابي معادلات ساختاري، آزمون تي تك نمونه اي و آزمون تحليل واريانس) استفاده شده است‌. تجزيه و تحليل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم افزارهاي آماري SPSS 25 و LISREL 8/80 انجام شد. يافته ها‌: مولفه‌هاي اخلاق حرفه‌اي به ترتيب الويت با اشاره به نمره ميانگين عبارتند از؛ مسوليت علمي، باور به خوداتكايي‌، اخلاق حرفه‌اي‌، باور به مسوليت‌هاي اجتماعي، رعايت سرمايه‌هاي ارتباطي ، رعايت سرمايه‌هاي شناختي، رعايت سرمايه‌هاي اجتماعي‌، حس تعلق به اجتماع علمي و رعايت سرمايه‌هاي ساختاري بوده است. نتيجه‌گيري‌: هر‌چند وضعيت اخلاق حرفه‌اي اعضاي هيات علمي بالاتر از متوسط ارزيابي مي‌شود، ولي هنوز فاصله زيادي با وضعيت مطلوب وجود دارد.

Background: The most well-known aspect of professionalism in the faculty is professional ethics. Professional ethics at the university is a set of ethical principles and standards of conduct that determine the behavior of its members. In fact, academic professional ethics is a process of rational thinking that aims to realize scientific values ​​in the scientific community and how to maintain and disseminate it. Method: The present study is a combination of correlation and post-event method and its statistical population is all respected faculty members of universities around the country. From this statistical population 435 faculty members were selected using stratified random sampling method. Is. The research instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire consisting of 7 components and 30 items. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics (Pearson and Spearman correlation test, structural equation modeling test, one-sample t-test and analysis of variance). Data were analyzed using SPSS 25 and LISREL 8/80 statistical software. Results: The components of professional ethics in order of priority with respect to the mean score are: scientific responsibility, self-reliance, professional ethics, belief in social responsibility, communication capital, cognitive capital, social capital, sense of belonging, and scientific community. Structural capital has been respected. Conclusion: Although the professional ethics of faculty members are rated above average, there is still a large gap with desirable status.
