The investigation on corrosion behavior of reinforced concrete Poles in Corrosive area

Lack of attention to the important standards and results of researches in the field of reinforced concrete corrosion, caused a lot of financial losses due to early raised damages in these concrete structures, due to their low quality manufacturing. Life reduction of these structures is one of the most important problems especially in corrosive environments. The main mechanism of concrete protection is creating a barrier layer against the corrosive agents and ions. Budgets of corrosion damages are 2-4 percent of Gross National Product (GNP) and they can reduce up to 25 percent by use of good protection methods. The presented results in this article will lead us to the practical ways to prevent these early raised damages.
