هر مكان جغرافيايي به همراه موقعيت جغرافيايي، توپوگرافي، چشم انداز، گياهان و جانوران هوا و آب و هواي منابع طبيعي را براي گردشگري و تفريح شكل مي دهند. حال با توجه به اين كه هر فعاليت اقتصادي نيازمند يك بستر مكاني است كه در علم جغرافيا به اين مكان، فضاي جغرافيايي اطلاق مي شود. اين فضاي جغرافيايي تامين كننده ي فعاليتهاي توريستي مي باشد . عوامل زيادي بر صنعت توريسم تاثير مي گذارند كه يكي از مهم ترين آن ها آب و هواست.همراه با موقعيت جغرافيايي، توپوگرافي، چشم انداز، پوشش گياهي و جانوران، آب و هوا به عنوان يكي از مهمترين منابع پايه محلي در توسعه صنعت گردشگري نقش ايفا مي كند. گيلان يكي از استان هاي شمالي كشور يكي از مهم‌ترين مناطق گردشگري كشور مي‌باشد و در اين مطالعه با ارائه روش تحقيق از نوع كاربردي، توصيفي- تحليلي و نرم افزار هاي نرم افزارهاي Excel ، Google Earth، Arc GIS با بررسي وضعيت و پتانسيل هاي اقليمي موجود در استان گيلان بعنوان يكي از استان هاي شمالي كشور كه داراي امكانات مناسب در زمينه گردشگري نيز ميباشد به تحليل وضعيت خاص اقليمي استان پرداخته در ضمن به بحث مطابقت بحث اقليم با گردشگري و توسعه آن خواهد پرداخت نتايج حاصل از طبقه بندي اقليمي استان با روش هاي دومارتن نقشه هاي هم دما و هم باران حاكي از وجود شرايط مناسب جهت توسعه صنعت گردشگري در استان خواهد بود. نهايتا با استفاده از شاخص اقليمي TCI اقدام به پهنه بندي استان در زمينه گردشگري گرديد و نتايج ارائه گرديد.

Which has convenient facilities in the field of tourism is also significant to analyze the specific situation of the province and also to discuss tourism and its development will conform to discuss climate. The result of climatic classification methods Domarten temperature and precipitation maps also will be show that there are good conditions for tourism development in the province and Finally, using the climate index TCI zoning province, and the results were presented in the field of tourism.
