چكيده فارسي :
پيشرفت هاي علم ژنتيك در تكنيك ژنوم، منجر به معرفي سيستم هاي جديد تشخيصي براي مطالعه بيماري يا ارزيابي نتايج درمان بيماري ها گرديده است. در اين علم كه پزشكي مبتني بر فرد (Personalized Medicine) ناميده مي شود، از ساختار ژنتيكي افراد براي ارزيابي روش هاي تشخيص بيماري، درمان و حتي پيشگيري از ابتلا استفاده مي شود. نظر به اينكه مطالعات بسيار محدودي در اين خصوص در حوزه بيماري هاي دهان و فك و صورت انجام گرفته است، مطالعه حاضر، با هدف بررسي مزايا و چالش هاي ورود اين شاخه جديد از علم پزشكي به درمان هاي دندانپزشكي، انجام گرفت.
روش بررسي
در اين مطالعه براي بررسي جامع قابليت ها و چالش هاي استفاده از دندانپزشكي مبتني بر فرد (Personalized Dentistry) در درمان هاي دندانپزشكي و همچنين تاثير آن در تغيير شاخص هاي سلامت دهان، تمام مقالات موجود در اين زمينه در منابع اطلاعاتي PubMed، Google scholar، Medline، Scopus، SID و Magiran با كليد واژه هاي مرتبط، جستجو گرديد. بر اساس معيارهاي ورود و خروج، نتايج 5 مقاله تاييد، بررسي و جمع بندي گرديد.
يافته ها
در مقالات بررسي شده، بر فوايد استفاده از دندانپزشكي مبتني بر فرد در درمان هاي دندانپزشكي شامل هدفمند و اختصاصي شدن درمان ها و در نتيجه صرف زمان و انرژي و هزينه كمتر و از معايب آن شامل ناشناخته بودن عوامل بيولوژيك تاثير گذار و همچنين تاثيرات متقاطع برخي عوامل مذكور بر روي يكديگر و همينطور بر روند درمان اشاره شده بود.
نتيجه گيري
با توجه به وجود دانش هاي تخصصي و ابزارهاي تشخيصي اختصاصي بيماري هاي دهان، استفاده از فوايد به كارگيري دندانپزشكي مبتني بر فرد مي تواند اختصاصيت درمان را براي بيماران بالاتر برده و از مضرات جانبي (Side effects) درمان هاي معمول بكاهد و نيز به عنوان گام موثري بر اثر بخشي بيشتر درمان ها معرفي گردد، هرچند براي رفع چالش هاي آن نيز مي بايست اقدام نمود.

Advances of genetic science in genomic techniques have led introducing new diagnostic systems to study the diseases or treatment efficacies. In this science, which named “Personalized Medicine”, human genetic structure is used for evaluation of the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Regarding the limited number of studies regarding this issue in Oral & Maxillofacial diseases, this study was aimed to evaluate the benefits and challenges of this new area (Personalized Medicine) in dental treatments.
Materials and Methods
In this study, complete evaluation of abilities and challenges in order to apply the “Personalized Dentistry” in Dental treatments, and also its effect on oral health indexes were done. All the existing related articles were searched with the relevant key words in the scientific data bases of PubMed, Google Scholar, Medline, Scopus, SID and Magiran. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 5 articles were selected, assessed and summarized.
Results
In the evaluated articles, the benefits of “Personalized Dentistry” in dental treatments as targeted and specialized treatment could result in lower time, energy and cost. In addition, its disadvantage as unknown biologic effective factors and also, the cross effects of some of the above items on each other and the treatment procedures were mentioned.
Conclusion
Regarding the specialized sciences and diagnostic tools for oral & maxillofacial disease, the benefits of “Personalized Dentistry” application can be increased for special treatments of patients. Also, it could reduce the side effects of conventional therapies and thus, could be introduced as an effective step for better dental treatments.
