The Ultimate Goal of Education from the Islamic Point of View

هدف غايي در تعليم و تربيت اسلامي از جايگاه ويژه‌اي برخوردار است. متخصصان تعليم و تربيت اسلامي اهداف متفاوتي را به‌عنوان هدف غايي مطرح كرده‌اند؛ اهدافي چون قرب الي الله، حيات طيبه، خليفة الله، فناء في الله و رضوان الله را به‌عنوان هدف غايي تربيت اسلامي مطرح كرده‌اند، در حالي كه هدف غايي يكي بيش نيست. سؤال اين است كه براساس آيات و روايات، هدف غايي تعليم و تربيت اسلامي كدام يك از اين اهداف است. اين پژوهش با روش تحليل و تفسير آيات و روايات و ديدگاه علماي اخلاق درصدد بررسي هدف غايي تربيت از ديدگاه اسلامي است. نتايج تحقيق حاكي از اين است كه تعليم و تربيت اسلامي تنها يك هدف غايي دارد و آن عبارتست از رضوان الله. موارد ديگر يا در طول اين هدف هستند و يا از اهداف كلي تربيت اسلامي در ابعاد و حيطه‌هاي مختلف تربيت عبادي، ديني، اجتماعي و... هستند.

The ultimate goal in Islamic education enjoys a special position. The experts of Islamic education have mentioned various goals as the ultimate goals. They have mentioned goals such as proximity to Allah, pure life, Allah’s vicegerency, annihilation in Allah, and Allah’s consent, while there is just one ultimate goal. The question is as follows: “What is the ultimate goal of Islamic education according to Quranic verses and Islamic traditions?” The present study analyzes the Quranic verses and Islamic traditions as well as the views of the scholars of morality to investigate the ultimate goal of education form the Islamic viewpoint. The findings of the study suggest that Islamic education has just one goal and that is Allah’s consent. Other things are either in line with that goal or are among the general goals of the Islamic education in various domains such as ritual, religious, social education and the like.
