Recognition of the Urban Public Realms Capacity in Improving the Social Interaction by Grounded Theory Case Study: Mashhad Metropolitan

عرصه هاي همگاني شهري به عنوان فضاهاي حضور شهروندان و مكاني براي برقراري ارتباط و تعامل اجتماعي مي باشند؛ و به معناي عام، سنگ زيرين تمام عرصه هاي اجتماعي هستند و بدون آن ها، بسياري از عملكردهاي جامعه شهري ميسر نخواهد بود. بنابراين، نقش مهمي در كيفيت زندگي و رفاه شهروندان دارند و توجه به كيفيت آن ها در فرآيند برنامه ريزي توسعه شهري ضرورتي انكارناپذير است. مسئله اصلي فراروي اين مقاله توجه به ظرفيت عرصه هاي همگاني در تسهيل مراودات اجتماعي است. ؛ و در اين فرآيند از رويكرد كل گراي انساني – محيطي بهره گرفته است. بنابراين، با استفاده از تئوري زمينه اي به بررسي رفتار كاربران عرصه هاي همگاني كلانشهر مشهد پرداخته است. مطالعه عرصه هاي همگاني مشهد نشان مي دهد، اين عرصه ها توانسته اند محيطي موردپذيرش گروه هاي مختلف اجتماعي را فراهم نمايند؛ اين مهم به ظرفيت هاي عرصه هاي همگاني شهري براي حضور افراد و تمايل به تعامل با ديگران اشاره دارد. مدل پارادايمي رابطه بين مفاهيم و مقوله ها و نتايج آزمون تحليل واريانس يك طرفه نشان مي دهد شرايط مداخله گري نظير سن، جنس، ميزان آشنايي و علت مراجعه در تمايل به حضور در عرصه هاي همگاني و نيز برقراري تعامل اجتماعي با ديگران موثر هستند.

Urban public realms are the spaces for presence of citizens with different social behaviors. It means that they are the basis of all urban social spaces and none of urban society’s functions are possible without them. So, they have an important role in quality of life and welfare of the citizens and it's essential to pay attention to their quality in urban development planning process. The major concern of this paper is to study urban public realms quality and facilitate social interaction in public realms of multicultural cities. So, it has utilized to Grounded theory to study the behavioral pattern of Mashhad metropolitan public realms. Investigation of Mashhad public realms indicates that they have been able to create spaces that are accepted by different social groups. It refers to the importance of the capacities of the urban public realms for the presence of the people and the desire to interact to each other. The paradigm model of the relationship between concepts and categories and the results of one-way ANOVA show that interventional factors are effective in the tendency to participate in public realms and social interactions to others. These intervener factors include age, gender and level of individual awareness of the environment and also the purpose of visiting public realms.
