يكي از مهم­ترين الزامات هر جامعه ­اي براي دست­يابي به توسعه و پيشرفت، ارتباط ميان دو نهاد دانشگاه و صنعت است. رابطه دوسويه، كارآمد و مؤثر بين اين دو نهاد مهم به بهبود شرايط كل جامعه ياري مي­رساند. در اين ميان طراحي و راه­اندازي مراكزي واسط بين اين دو نهاد مهم جامعه ضروري به نظر مي­رسد. مركز اطلاعات، مشاوره و كاريابي دانشجويي نقش مهمي در برقراري ارتباط مؤثر بين دو نهاد دانشگاه و صنعت ايفا مي­ كند. اين مقاله با بهره ­گيري از نظريه جستجو و روش اسنادي به چگونگي و شرح خدمات اين مركز مي ­پردازد. تبادل اطلاعات ميان دانشگاه و صنعت، مشاوره و كاريابي ، دريافت نيازهاي صنعت در حوزه نيروي انساني، كمك به برگزاري دوره­ هاي كارآموزي بخشي از وظايف اين مركز است.
