مناقشاتي كه در سده اخير در حوزه‌هاي مختلف از جمله پيرامون مفهوم شراب در شعر حافظ ميان اديبان و شعر‌شناسان در گرفته است و منجر به نگارش ده‌ها كتاب و مقاله و ... شده است، تا كنون راه به جايي نبرده است و هم‌چنان نيز آثاري نگاشته مي‌شود كه اصرار به دامن‌زدن به همان مناقشات سابق دارند. در اين مقاله با تكيه بر نظريه شعري خواجه نصيرالدين طوسي راهبردي استخراج مي‌گردد كه به مناقشات ياد شده بتواند پايان دهد. مناقشاتي كه بعضاً محصول نگاه منطقي يا به قول خواجه نصيرالدين طوسي نگاه تصديقي به شعر است و در پي تفسير مفاهيم موجود در شعر با تطبيق آن‌ها با خارج و يافتن ما به‌ ازاي مفهوم در خارج است. راهبرد كارآمد خواجه نصير‌الدين طوسي مبتني بر خودبسندگي شعر و استقلال آن از جهان خارج است كه اين روش را بر اساس آراء خواجه نصيرالدين طوسي و ديگر فلاسفه اسلامي روش تخييلي به شعر مي‌توان نام نهاد.
