شاعران شيوه‌هاي گوناگوني را براي خلق مضامين تازه و عميق و آرايش سخن به كار گرفته‌اند و نقادان سخن بر هر كدام از اين شيوه‌هاي ابداع و آرايش كلام نامي نهاده‌اند؛ اما يك نوع هنري، شيرين و پركاربرد از ترفندهاي ادبي كه سابقه‌اي به قدمت خود ادبيات دارد و از آغاز و در شعر رودكي نيز ديده مي‌شود، كمتر مورد توجه سخن‌شناسان قرار گرفته است. اين شيوه به كارگيري حروف الفبا در خلق مضامين به شيوه‌اي هنري، زيبا و شورانگيز است. عطار از كساني است كه با بهره‌مندي از جادوي هنر بر كالبد حروف الفبا دميده و به آن‌ها جاني تازه بخشيده است. در اين نوشتار بر آنيم تا چگونگي به كارگيري حروف الفبا براي خلق مضامين را در آثار عطار تبيين كنيم و به ابداعاتي كه عطار در اين شيوه بدان دست يازيده است اشاره نماييم. در اين مجال ضمن بيان مفاهيم خلق شده، زيبايي‌ها و كاربرد هنري حروف الفبا نيز ارايه خواهد شد. روش تحقيق تحليلي ـ توصيفي بوده و از طريق مطالعات كتابخانه‌اي و الكترونيكي صورت مي‌گيرد.

In this writing we decide to revelation how applied alphabet letters for creation themes in Attar’s poem and we point to inventions that Attar reaches in way.
