چكيده فارسي :
مار، يكي از پيچيده ترين و چند سويه ترين و در عين حال پركاربردترين رمز‌ها در سراسر دنياست. اين نماد رمزآلود، پيچيده با مفاهيم گسترده در بسياري از فرازهاي مثنوي با باورهاي مذهبي، عرفاني و اسطوره‌اي تلفيق شده است. مولوي براي مار معاني نمادين بسياري بيان كرده است كه برخي از آن‌ها ارتباط عميقي با ويژگيهاي فيزيكي اين جانور دارد. در مثنوي غالباً از مار به بدي ياد شده است و مولوي آن را داراي چهره و نمايي زشت و سياه و ترسناك دانسته كه قادر به كارهاي فوق طبيعي است. وي در پرتو بينش عرفاني خويش بيشتر از مار مفهومي، انتزاعي و ديني برداشت كرده و آن را سمبل نفس اماره، شهوت، ابليس، دشمني، پليدي، شومي، تباهي، سياهي، حيله گري، نابودي و... قرار داده است. نگارنده در صدد است تا در حد توان و درك علمي خود، ابعاد مختلف معاني نمادين مار را به طور مبسوط و گسترده در مثنوي استخراج كند و با اراية شبكه هاي تصويري، مفاهيم ذهني مولوي را عيني تر و ملموس تر سازد. روش پژوهش در اين مقاله، توصيفي ـ تحليلي و مبتني بر مطالعات كتابخانه اي است.

The snake is one of the most complex and multi-threaded, and yet the most prolific symbol of the world. This mysterious, complex mysterious symbol has been integrated with many concepts in many of Masnavi's ups and downs with religious, mystical and mythological beliefs. Rumi has expressed many meanings for the serpent, some of which have deep connection with the physical characteristics of the beast. In Mathnavi, the snake is often referred to as a bad one, and Rumi has a ugly, black and horrible face and look that is capable of supernatural work. In the light of his mystical insight, he has taken more than a conceptual, abstract, and religious snake, and constitutes it as a symbol of self-esteem, lust, devil, hostility, filth, deceit, ruin, blackness, cunning, annihilation, and so on. The author intends to extract the various dimensions of the semantic meanings of the snake exponentially and extensively in Masnavi, in terms of his ability and understanding, and by presenting visual networks, Rumi's mental concepts become more objective and tangible. The research method in this paper is descriptive-analytic and based on library studies.
