چكيده فارسي :
داستانِ سياوش، غم‌نامه اي است كه در تقابل دو عنصر و ارزش متفاوت ايراني و نيراني (توراني) اهريمن و يزدان، خردورزي و سبك سري، با برخورداري از انواع كشمكش ها و تقابل هاي بيروني و دروني شكل مي گيرد.
هر يك از شخصيت‌ها، يك و يا چند ويژگي (ارزش و ضد ارزش) را، نمايندگي مي كنند. سياوش، گرانيگاهِ همة دردها و درگيري‌ها، نماد فرزانگي، زيبايي، خردورزي، پيمان‌داري، زهد، قناعت، بندگي و نيايش‌گري ِيزدان، و دوري از هوا و هوس است كه، با موانع بيروني و دروني (سرنوشت، هوس سودابه، شعلة آتش، جنگ با توران، حسادت گرسيوز، خوي افراسيابي، سبك سري كاووس و رنج درونيِ پناه بردن به دشمن) مبارزه مي كند. شخصيت سياوش را از وصف‌هاي فردوسي، توصيف شخصيت او از زبانِ ديگران، رفتار او، عمل و كار او، توصيف ِخود او از شخصيتِ خود، و نهايتاً، از گفتارش مي‌توان شناخت. پژوهشِ پيش رو، به تحليل شخصيت سياوش پرداخته است. او خردورز، دورانديش، خاموش و كم گو، اهل مشورت، داراي صورت و سيرت نيكو، رازدار، اهل تامل و گاه ترديد، و، پيمان‌دار و كسي است كه سرانجام بر سر پيمان خويش مي‌ميرد.

Siavash is a tragic story, which is consisted of different conflicts, of any kinds; internal and external, it is full of contrasts and elements of Iranian and Turanian (turke), stuggle between shatan (ahriman) and yazdan (Allah), between wisdom and headlessness. Every charactors in the story are the manifestations of value and disvalue. Siavash himself is the main character, and the aim of all pains. He is the representative of wisdom, beauty, loyalty, and prayer of god, without any headlessness. Siavash is ln fight with, external and lnternal, like fate, Sudabbah, war with Turan, the jealous of Garsivaz, and also he should fight with bad behavior of Afrasiab, headlessness of his father (Kavoos), and more important he is suffering of this thought, going to Turan. We can get and understand, the Siavash character, through Ferdowsi direct explanations, the descriptions from the other characters, his behavior, his actions, his telling of himself, and finally we can know more him through his dialogus , letters, and his dreams . This essay is about Siavash.
