يكي از مؤلفه‌هاي مهم قدرت، توان اقتصادي يك كشور مي‌باشد. و كشورهاي داراي توان اقتصادي بالا، توانايي دارند در ساير معادلات بين‌المللي و منطقه‌اي تأثيرگذار باشند. از طرفي همواره استفاده از ابزارهاي اقتصادي موردتوجه كشورهاي سلطه­ گر بوده است. دشمنان نظام مقدس جمهوري اسلامي ايران نيز همواره جهت ضربه زدن به اين نظام، از تحريم، تهديد و جنگ اقتصادي استفاده كرده ­اند. اگرچه هدف اين تحريم‌ها بهانه‌هاي واهي همچون دفاع از حقوق بشر و يا جلوگيري از دستيابي به انرژي هسته‌اي عنوان مي‌گردد، اما درواقع دشمني اين قدرت‌هاي استكباري با مردم و آرمان­هاي انقلاب اسلامي ايران باعث وضع محدوديت‌هاي اقتصادي عليه كشور جمهوري اسلامي ايران شده است. دفاع اقتصادي كه مؤلفه‌هاي بازدارندگي، قدرت مقابله و توانمندي اقتصادي را شامل مي­ شود، جهت مقابله با تهاجمات اقتصادي دشمن طرح مي ­گردد و باعث ساختن بنياني قوي براي مقاومت در مقابل تكانه­ هاي خارجي مي‌گردد.مجموعه بيانات مقام معظم رهبري و اسناد كلاني كه از سوي ايشان ابلاغ گرديده­اند، خصوصاً سند اقتصاد مقاومتي و سند توليد ملي، به‌عنوان گنجين ه­اي گهربار از راهبردها و راهكارهاي ارزشمند براي دفاع اقتصادي مي­باشند. اين تحقيق باهدف تدوين راهبردهاي دفاع اقتصادي از منظر مقام معظم رهبري و با روش داده بنياد انجام‌شده است و با استفاده از مجموعه بيانات مقام معظم رهبري و اسناد ابلاغي از سوي معظم له (جامعه و نمونه آماري)، ضمن ارائه الگوي دفاع اقتصادي، راهبردهاي دفاع اقتصادي را كه عبارتند از: حمايت از توليد ملي،گسترش اقتصاد مردم بنيان، رشد بهره‌وري عوامل توليد، خودكفايي، گسترش اقتصاد دانش‌بنيان و توسعه صادرات تدوين كرده است.

The enemies of the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran have also used sanctions, threats and economic wars to hit this system. Although the purpose of these sanctions is blatant pretexts like the defense of human rights or the prevention of access to nuclear energy, in fact the hostility of these austerity powers with the people and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution of Iran has created economic restrictions against the republic Islamic Republic of Iran. Economic defense that incorporates deterrence, power of response and economic capability, is designed to counteract the economic invasion of the enemy and provides a strong foundation for resisting external impacts. The collection of statements made by the Supreme Leader and the extensive documents communicated to him, in particular the document of resistance economy and the national production document, are a treasure of valuable strategies and strategies for economic defense. This research was conducted with the aim of developing economic defense strategies from the point of view of the Supreme Leader and in the basis of the grounded theory method. Using the set of statements of the Supreme Leader and the documents communicated by the Supreme Leader (society and statistical sample), while presenting the model of economic defense, Economic defense strategies are: support for national production, the expansion of the people's economy, the growth of the productivity of production factors, self-sufficiency, the development of knowledge-based economy and export development.
