In this article the role of translation and translating literature on the development, growth and flovrishment of national literature and also, the point of view of renown authors and researches about the above subject has been notified. The majority of Russian authors believe that without considering translating literature it will not be possible to have a complete picture of local and national literatures. Next, the impact of the translation of the Holly Koran on Pushkinʹs "Following the Koran" has been shown. Some chapters of Koran, that from the writerʹs point of view, are the source of inspiration and composition of the first strophe of the poem of "Following the Koran", have been mentioned. And on the basis of this inspiration sources, this strophe has been analyzed.
