بررسي تعامل تنجيم و طبابت با مرور اجمالي بر فعاليت‌هاي حاجي نجم‌الدوله و خاندان وي

(A Biography of the Sage Ebn-Batlan and his Book "Taghvim-alSehha" (the Calendar of Health

اطلاع از آينده و حوادث زندگي انسان، به ويژه امور مربوط به پزشكي همچون تعيين زمان مناسب براي مصرف ادويه و بازيابي سلامت، يكي از دغدغه‌هاي مهم بشر در ادوار گذشته بوده است، كه ظاهرا امكان اين پيش‌گويي‌ با شكل‌گيري دانش احكام نجوم يا تنجيم ميسر گرديد. اهميت اين دانش به حدي بود كه اين‌گونه احكام در بسياري از متون از جمله كتب نجومي و طبي براي مخاطبين خاص و تقويم‌هاي سنتي براي مخاطبين عام، در قرون متمادي درج مي‌شد تا اين‌كه با ورود دانش جديد اروپايي به ايران عهد قاجار، نگارش احكام نجوم در متون تخصصي طب و هيأت، كم‌رنگ اما در تقويم‌هاي نجومي همچنان ادامه يافت. مسأله اصلي اين پژوهش، بررسي تعامل تنجيم با پزشكي، بر اساس فعاليت‌هاي عبدالغفار نجم‌الدوله و برخي از خاندان وي مي‌باشد. بدين منظور تلاش شده اطلاعات مربوط به اين پژوهش از طريق بررسي كتابخانه‌اي، گردآوري و فيش‌برداري شود، سپس به كمك تحليل مواد خام، داده‌هاي مورد نياز به دست آمد و در نهايت با رويكرد توصيفي ـ تحليلي تدوين متن حاضر صورت پذيرفت. بدين ترتيب اين جستار با بررسي منابع تاريخي به اين نتيجه مي‌رسد كه به رغم آشنايي خاندان حاجي نجم‌الدوله با علوم جديد، به دليل تقاضاي غالب اقشار جامعه (از دربار و برخي دولت‌مردان تا طبقات فرو‌دست)، نگارش احكام نجومي مرتبط با پزشكي، در تقويم‌هاي چند‌ نسل متوالي از اين خانواده تداوم يافت.

Ebn-Batlan can be assumed one of the great physician of the 5th hijri century up to now, whose medical experiments and works were introduced as reliable references in most of the medicine history. He was skillful in wisdom and medicine and also in curing illnesses. He lived in 5th century and died in the middle of that. His books and works were so influencing in history of medicine particularly in the east of Islamic region. He has written nearly 13 books and articles. His book "Taghvim al-Sehha" has special importance besides his other medical works. The aim of this study is trying to introduce scientific and medical characteristics of Ebn-Batlan and his important works and some of his innovations as well. Ebn-Batlan, in medicine, used a combination of his earlier medicine’s methods and his updated experiences. He, nearly 900 years ago, stated the issues in medicine and curing illnesses in his book (Taghvim-al-Sehha) which are still medicine science’s issues and recommended and emphasized by medicine societies. Thus, research in the field of biography, medical methods and his health recommendations and other traditional medicine sages would be useful in introducing this great sage to the medicine world and researches of medicine history. Study and investigating on their used treatment methods could be helpful in distinguishing and curing the various diseases as well.
