زمينه و هدف: عدم توجه همه جانبه به عوامل و مولفه هاي موثر بر ترك، محققان را بر آن داشته تا در جستجوي روش هاي موثر و كارا در درمان سوء مصرف مواد مخدر متناسب با وضعيت رواني و فرهنگي معتادين در كشورمان باشند. روش بررسي: مطالعه از نوع كيفي است. از روش تحليل محتوا جهت تحليل جلسات مراحل تغيير در فرايند درمان الگوي فرا نظري استفاده شده است. يافته ها: نتايج تحليل محتوا نشان داد كه بررسي وتوجه به منابع حمايتي در اين الگو بيشترين ميزان اهميت را به خود اختصاص داده است. كنترل و مديريت استرس هاي حال حاضر، گذشته آموزش روش هاي تن آرامي و كار بر روي عزت نفس در جلسات درماني مورد توجه قرار گرفته و رتبه دوم را به خود اختصاص داده است. كمترين ميزان توجه در تحليل محتواي جلسات درماني را ارزيابي وضعيت جسماني به خود اختصاص داد. نتيجه گيري: روش هاي متنوع درمان هاي غير دارويي بايد متناسب با وضعيت رواني، فرهنگي و شناختي معتادين در كشورمان باشد.
