چكيده فارسي :
يكي از بزرگترين معضل‌هاي تمامي كشورهاي جهان، سوء مصرف و جرائم مواد مخدر است. بسياري از جوانان و حتي پدر و مادرها فكر مي‌كنند كه دليل اعتياد فرد به مواد مخدر دوستان مي‌باشد درحالي‌كه اين تنها انگيزه مصرف مواد محسوب نمي‌شود. اگر بخواهيم انگيزه‌هاي مصرف مواد مخدر را بشناسيم، فهرست بلند بالايي مي‌شود ازجمله كنجكاوي، كسب لذت، تسكين درد، هيجان‌طلبي يا ميل به خطر كردن، احساس بزرگ شدن.... اين علل باوجود اينكه چندان مهم به نظر نمي‌رسند، باعث اعتياد ميليون‌ها انسان شده‌اند. امروزه متخصصين يك عامل را زمينه ساز اعتياد نمي‌دانند و معتقدند عوامل مختلف دست به دست هم مي‌دهند و فرد را معتاد مي‌كنند. اين عوامل عبارتند ازعوامل فردي، عوامل خانوادگي، عوامل اجتماعي هر كدام از اين سه عامل به تنهايي قادرند تا موجب گرايش فرد به اعتياد شوند
با توجه به اينكه بيش از نيمي از زندانيان كشور در رابطه با مواد مخدر در حبس مي‌باشند و افزايش روز افزون تعداد معتادان و وجود ناهنجاريهاي مختلف حاصل از اعتياد درجامعه، نشانگر كارايي كم اقدامات انجام يافته در خصوص پيشگيري دركشور است. بر اين اساس موُثرترين روش‌هاي پيشگيري ازاعتياد به مواد مخدر خيلي ضروري به نظر مي‌رسد.

One of the biggest dilemmas in all countries in the world is drug abuse and drug offences. Many young people and even parents think that the reason for drug addiction is friends, while this is not the only motive for drug use. If we want to know the motives of drug use, the long list goes up, including curiosity, pleasure, pain relief, excitement or risk
appetite, an feeling of being mature ... while these causes do not seem
to matter, it causes millions of people to be addicted. Today, experts do
not consider an agent as a source of addiction, and believe that various
factors make up addiction. These factors include individual factors,
family factors, and social factors, each of these three factors can cause
a person to become addicted.
Since more than half of the country's prisoners are in prison for drug
use, and the increasing number of addicts and the various
abnormalities of drug addiction in the community, it shows the low effectiveness of preventive measures in the country. Accordingly, the most effective methods of preventing drug addiction are very necessary.
