رويكرد اضطراري به تفسير علمي قرآن كه ناشي از برخورد منفعلانه در مقابل پيشرفت هاي جهان غرب از يك سو و عقب ماندگي تمدني جهان اسلام از سوي ديگر بود، اغلب تطبيق قرآن برفرضيات ، تئوري ها و نظريات ثابت نشده علمي را در پي داشته، كه خود از لغزش گاه هاي تفسيري محسوب مي شود و گاه نظريه استخراج همه علوم از قرآن را به جامعه القاء كرده، كه اين نيز پنداري ناسنجيده وغلط است. آنچه مهم وصحيح به نظر مي رسد، استفاده از دستاورد هاي قطعي و مسلم علوم تجربي در فهم صحيح آيات قرآن كريم و معرفت و هدايت انسان و نيل به سعادت ابدي و هماهنگ دانستن آيات تكويني و تشريعي الهي در نظام خلقت است، كه اين امر البته تنها در رويكرد ضرورت محور و فعال به تفسير علمي حاصل خواهد شد. تفسير علمي مطلوب و آرماني، تنها با همكاري گروهي متخصصان خدا باور علوم تجربي در شاخه هاي گوناگون آن با مفسران و آشنايان با زبان و منطق وحي سامان مي يابد و كارساز مي شود و گرنه تا زماني كه مفسران اغلب نا آشنا با ظرائف علوم تجربي و دانشمندان علوم طبيعي بيگانه از دقائق معارف الهي، هريك جداگانه و اغلب از روي اضطرار ومنفعلانه ، به تفسير ظاهرا علمي قرآن بپردازند، اين رويكرد تفسيري نه چندان كارآمد باقي خواهد ماند.
