زمينه و هدف: امنيت مرزي كشورها و كنترل عبور و مرور از مرزها يكي از داغ‌ترين موضوعات امروز در جهان است. بااين‌حال فن‌آوري ، و نه سياست ، يكي از مهم‌ترين مباحث براي كساني است كه وظيفه‌دارند امنيت مرزها را تضمين كنند. كشور ما نيز به دليل موقعيت راهبردي و هممرزي با چندين كشور مختلف و حضور نظاميان بيگانه در اين كشورها و حضور اشرار و باندهاي قاچاق مواد مخدر و همچنين ساير تهديدات، نيازمند بكار گيري فنّاوري براي تأمين امنيت مرزهايش مي‌باشد ، در اين راه تلاشهاي فراواني صورت گرفته است . با بكار گيري فنّاوري در تأمين امنيت مرزها مي‌توان اطلاعات دقيقي از مواضع دشمنان كسب نمود و فرماندهان را در پيشبرد اهدافشان ياري رساند. با توجه به رشد روزافزون علم و توسعه‌ي زيرساخت‌ها در كشور، ايران در پي به‌كارگيري هرچه بيشتر فنّاوري براي افزايش سطح كنترل مرزهايش پرداخته است و در اين راه از برخي كشورهاي توسعه‌يافته الگو گرفته است . روش تحقيق: با توجه به اينكه هدف از اين تحقيق استفاده از فن‌آوري‌هاي نوين و پيشرفته در افزايش امنيت و ايمني در شهرهاي مرزي و مرزهاي كشور است و نتايج آن موردنياز رده‌هاي مختلف نظامي بخصوص تصميم گيران سطوح راهبردي مي­باشد ، لذا نوع تحقيق كاربردي بوده و دقيقاً بر مبناي نياز فعلي و آينده‌ي سازمان­هاي نظامي مخصوصاً نيروي انتظامي و يگان­هاي مرزباني مي­باشد. يافته‌ها و نتيجه‌گيري: مي­توان تمام مرزهاي كشور را در تمام لحظات شبانه‌روز و در تمام شرايط آب و هوايي مورد رصد قرارداد اين امر باعث كاهش هزينه­ها، افزايش دقت، كاهش تلفات انساني،افزايش سرعت عمليات و اطلاع‌رساني يگان­هاي مرزباني خواهد شد و درنهايت امنيت در مرزها و شهرهاي مرزي به‌طور چشمگيري ارتقا پيدا خواهد كرد.

Background and Aim: Border security and border crossings are one of the hottest topics in the world today. However, technology, not politics, is one of the most important issues for those tasked with ensuring border security. Our country also needs to use technology to ensure the security of its borders due to its strategic and border position with several different countries and the presence of foreign troops in these countries and the presence of criminals and drug trafficking gangs, as well as other threats. There have been many. By using technology to secure borders, accurate information can be obtained from enemy positions and help commanders advance their goals. Due to the increasing growth of science and infrastructure development in the country, Iran has sought to use more and more technology to increase the level of control of its borders and in this way has taken the example of some developed countries. Research Method: Considering that the purpose of this research is to use new and advanced technologies in increasing security and safety in border cities and borders of the country and its results are required by various military categories, especially strategic level decision makers, so the research was applied an‎d it is precisely based on the current and future needs of military organizations, especially law enforcement and border guards. Findings and Conclusions: All borders of the country can be monitored at all times of the day and night and in all weather conditions. This will reduce costs, increase accuracy, reduce human casualties, increase the speed of operations and inform border units. Eventually, security at the borders and border towns will improve dramatically
