هدف و زمينه: امنيت داخلي يكي از ‌‌‌مهم‌ترين مولفه‌هاي توسعه جامعه است و براي اينكه بتوانيم به توسعه پايدار و پيشرفت‌هاي روز افزون دست يابيم بايد شاخص‌هاي امنيتي را افزايش دهيم. مسلماً در اين راستا جايگاه و نقش نيروى انتظامى در پاسدارى از دستاوردهاى انقلاب‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌، در كنار ديگر نيروهاى مسلح كشور بر كسى پوشيده نيست هدف اين مقاله جايگاه ناجا در آرامش و اقتدار جامعه اسلامي بر اساس انديشه‌هاي مقام معظم رهبري (مدظله العالي) است. روش: اين تحقيق از نوع تحقيقات توصيفي و تحليلي برپايه مطالعات كتابخانه‌اي است. روش جمع آوري اطلاعات بر اساس رجوع به اسناد، كتب، نشريات و سايت‌هاي مرتبط با موضوع تحقيق است. تجزيه و تحليل يافته‌هاي تحقيق بر اساس روش تحليل محتوي صورت پذيرفته است. نتايج: معظم رهبري (مد ظله العالي) مي‌فرمايند: «نيروي انتظامي مظهر حاكميت و امنيت جمهوري اسلامي است بنابراين بايد اقتدار داشته باشد اما اين اقتدار به معناي ظلم كردن و حركت بي‌مهار نيست‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌، لازمه برقراري امنيت‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌، اقتدار پليس است اما اين اقتدار بايد همراه با عدالت و مروت و ترحم باشد». بر همين اساس با نگاهي به عملكرد نيروي انتظامي در چند سال گذشته كه از تشكيل آن مي‌گذرد‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌، مي‌توان به جرات گفت كه اين نيرو به عنوان بخشي از حاكميت كه مسئول حفظ امنيت‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌، آسايش و آرامش عمومي توانسته است

Aim and Background: Homeland security is one of the most important components of community development and we need to increase security indicators in order to achieve sustainable development and incremental progress. Certainly, the position and role of the law enforcement in protecting the achievements of the revolution, along with the other armed forces of the country, is not covered by anyone. Method: This is a descriptive and analytical research based on library studies. The method of gathering information is based on references to documents, books, publications, and sites relevant to the research subject. The research findings were analyzed using content analysis method. Results: The Supreme Leader states: "The police are the embodiment of the Islamic Republic's sovereignty and security so it must have authority but it does not mean oppressing the unarmed. Be fair and compassionate. " On this basis, looking at the performance of the police over the past few years, it can be said that this force as part of the sovereignty responsible for maintaining the security, comfort and public peace has become one of the prominent manifestations of national authority. Introduce Iran's security shield to the community and build on the spirit of self-confidence, self-confidence and all-round organizational and operational readiness, plans and seditions designed by enemy think-rooms to disrupt the security and peace of the country in the forty years.
