چكيده فارسي :
امنيت از بسياري از جنبه‌‌ها مورد توجه تعاليم اسلامي است؛ لذا شهر اسلامي تجلي تأمين انواع امنيت و ايمني براي شهروندان است. امنيت و به خصوص بعد اجتماعي آن ارتباط مستقيمي با فضا و ساخت و ساز شهري دارد. مقاله حاضر با روش توصيفي تحليلي با رويكرد استدلالي به بررسي موضوع مورد نظر پرداخته است و نتايج بررسي‌هاي صورت گرفته بر آن است تا معماري و شهرسازي اسلامي و به دنبال آن شهر اصيل اسلامي را ضامن وجود امنيت و آرامش اجتماعي ناشي از آن بداند. در اين ميان با تحليل در نظام فكري مقام معظم رهبري در ارتباط با نقش نيروي انتظامي در توسعه شهري اسلامي – ايراني به اين نكته پي برده مي‌شود كه امنيت زيربنا و يكي از شاخص‌هاي اصلي در توسعه شهرهاي اسلامي مي‌باشد. بنابراين چنان كه گزيده بيانات مقام معظم رهبري نشان مي دهد از ديدگاه ايشان امنيت از مهم‌ترين و اساسي‌ترين نيازهاي مردم و جامعه شهري مي‌باشد و در اين ميان نقش نيروي انتظامي در ايجاد اين امنيت بسيار مورد تأكيد و حساس مي‌باشد و به همين دليل در اكثر بيانات، ايشان نيروي انتظامي را به دقت و هوشياري در ايجاد امنيت در محيط زندگي مردم فرا مي‌خواند و بر ضرورت وجود امنيت براي تداوم فعاليت‌هاي اقتصادي و اجتماعي، علمي و فرهنگي در جهت توسعه شهر اسلامي تأكيد اساسي دارند.

Security is in many respects the focus of Islamic teachings, so the Islamic city is a manifestation of a variety of security and safety for its citizens. Security, and especially its social dimension, is directly related to urban space and construction. The present article, with a descriptive-analytic approach, has investigated the subject in question and the results of the research have been done to consider Islamic architecture and urban planning and subsequently the original Islamic city as a guarantee of security and social peace.
Meanwhile, by analyzing the thinking of the Supreme Leader regarding the role of law enforcement in the development of Islamic-Iranian urban development, it is realized that infrastructure security is one of the key indicators in the development of Islamic cities. Therefore, as the excerpts of the Supreme Leader's statement show, from their point of view, security is one of the most important needs of the people and civil society, and the role of the police in creating this security is very much emphasized and therefore sensitive. In most of his statements, he calls upon law enforcement to be vigilant in securing the living environment of the people and emphasize the need for security to continue economic, social, scientific and cultural activities for the development of the Islamic city.
