پژوهش حاضر به دنبال تبيين نقش پليس دانش بنيان در منظومه فكري مقام معظم رهبري(مدظله العالي) است كه مي‌تواند چراغ راهي براي دانش پژوهان باشد. روش پژوهش، توصيفي تحليلي بر پايه روش كيفي است. روش بكار رفته از نوع تحليل محتواي متون، اسناد، كتابها و سايت‌هاي مرتبط با عنوان مقاله مي‌باشد. يافته‌هاي اين تحقيق نشان مي‌دهد يكي از بركات انقلاب اسلامي پيدايش اعتماد به نفس و زمينه براي توليد نظريه­هاي علمي در حوزه­هاي مختلف علوم و دانش است و يكي از حوزه­هاي مهم و بنيادين حوزه­ي امنيت و امور دفاعي و همچنين حوزه­ي مأموريت­هاي پليس و نيروي انتظامي مي­باشد. نيروي انتظامي جمهوري اسلامي ايران با هدف توسعه دانش انتظامي، اقدامات مهمي را در دستور كار خود قرار داده و چشم انداز دانشي خود را در افق 1404 ترسيم نموده‌است و در اين سازمان، جهت تحقق پليس دانش بنيان اقدامات ارزنده­اي تاكنون صورت گرفته است. اميد مي­رود با هوشمندي و جهاد مستمر علمي نخبگان فكري-علمي و فرهنگي كشور و همچنين پيش­بيني مديريت­هاي كارآمد و اثربخش ان­شاءالله گسترش جنبش علمي و نهضت توليد علم در عرصه­هاي مختلف علوم مبتني بر ارزش­هاي بومي اسلامي-ايراني در پرتو راهنمايي­­ها و رهنمودهاي مقام معظم رهبري(مدظله العالي) در نيوي انتظامي جمهوري اسلامي ايران باشيم.
