Poverty Measurment with Exphasis on Mazondaron Urban Households 1369-1375

The economic opperession, or Poverty, has been the greatest human problem throughout the history. An Islamic society is ideally a society free of poverty. Thus the very existence of such a society can he envisaged by the absence of poverty. This makes investigation and measurment of poverty and its dimensions a necessary task. In this paper the poverty dimension curve has been used in order to measure poverty. This curve can measure targets such as poverty and its significant indices. It also illustrates the relationship between poverty dimensions and main poverty indices. The results show that the poverty degree has increased in Mazandaran during the 1990-1196, while income inequality has had no significant changes
