چكيده فارسي :
باور به منجي موعود در اسلام به صورتي هر چه واضح‌تر جلوه كرده است. اخبار اين باب به اندازه‌اي صريح و گسترده بوده و با نقل اجماعي روايت شده است كه به‌رغم گذشت قرن‌ها، پيشامد فراز و فرودها در تاريخ و سوء استفاده‌هاي بي‌سابقه جريانات تاريخي از آن باور، هنوز ميتوان به آنها استناد نمود. اين كه مهدي از عترت و آخرينِ فرد از سلالة پيامبر اسلام (ص) است و با آمدن او قبل از پايان دنيا عدل و داد حاكم مي‌شود و ...، هماهنگ و به‌طور اجماعي در اهم جوامع حديثي فريقين ثبت شده است. در اين ميان به سبب قرن‌ها وجود اختلاف مذهبي، اختلافاتي هم در باره برخي ابعاد اين موضوع، چون تبار، نام پدر و يا ولادت حضرت (ع) بروز كرده كه به نظر ميرسد با بررسي و تحليل بي‌طرفانۀ علمي برطرف گردد و معلوم مي‌شود موعود اسلام كسي جز امام دوازدهم از امامان اهل بيت (ع)، يعني محمد بن حسن عسكري(ع)، نيست كه به تقدير الهي ولادت و حياتش چون برخي انبياي عظام، مثل يوسف (ع)، موسي (ع) و عيسي (ع) نامتعارف رقم خورده و به همين دليل هم، معصومان (ع) به‌طور ويژه او را معرفي كرده‌اند.

Belief in the promised Savior in Islam has become even clearer. The news of this chapter is so explicit and extensive and has been narrated by consensus that despite centuries, ups and downs in history and unprecedented abuses of historical currents of that belief, they can still be cited. In the meantime, due to centuries of religious differences, there have been differences on some aspects of this issue, such as descent, father's name or the birth of the Prophet (pbuh), which seems to be resolved by impartial scientific analysis and analysis.
