ويروس كرونا ياcovid_19 چند ماهي است كه بيشتر كشورهاي جهان را درگير خويش نموده و مشكلات فراواني را براي آنها پديد آورده است. دامنه و ابعاد اين مشكلات روز افزون و جهان در انديشه پس از كروناست؛ از جمله ابعاد بحران كرونا ، تأثيري است كه بر نرخ جرم و جنايت و گونه هاي آن و نيز بر پاسخ دهي به آن بخصوص كيفري داشته است . اين مقاله مي كوشد تا ابعاد مختلف اين تأثيرات را مورد بررسي قرار دهد؛ مي توان ادعا كرد كه بحران كرونا موجب بحران سياست جنايي شده است ؛ و اگر چاره انديشي لازم نشود ممكن است اين بحران منجر به مشروعيت بخش مدل اقتدارگراي فراگير سياست جنايي شود كه نتيجه آن تحديد روز افزون آزادي هاي فردي و افزايش خودكامگي دولت ها خواهد بود راه حل برون رفت از اين بحران مشاركت دادن مردم در سياست جنايي و بازنگري در قوانين و ساختار دستگاه قضايي است.
