چكيده فارسي :
شناخت پيشينه مساجد و تاريخ معماري آن مي‌تواند زمينه‌ساز شناخت تمدن اسلامي باشد. مسجد اموي دمشق يكي از شاهكارهاي معماري اسلامي به‌شمار مي‌رود، و شناخت پيشينه و معماري آن مي‌تواند در چگونگي شكل‌گيري تمدن اسلام مفيد باشد.
اين مقاله با روش توصيفي ـ تحليلي و در قالب مطالعه‌اي كيفي به انجام رسيده و به دنبال پاسخ به اين پرسش است كه سير تكويني مؤلفه‌هاي زيبايي‌شناختي در سطح در زماني» و «همزماني» چه نقشي در شكل‌گيري زيبايي‌شناسي ساختار بناهاي دوره اسلامي به‌ويژه قبة‌الصخره و مسجد جامع دمشق داشته است؟ نتايج به‌دست‌آمده حاكي از آن است كه برخي از بناهاي اوايل دوره اسلامي در سطح زماني نتيجۀ آميزش و تلافي فرهنگ‌هاي مختلف بوده‌اند و زيبايي‌شناسي آنها از ويژگي چند فرهنگي برخوردار است.
در اين مقاله به تاريخ شكل‌گيري مسجد اموي به‌عنوان يكي از آثار تمدني بزرگ اسلام و نيز پيوند و ارتباط اين تمدن عظيم اسلامي با ساير تمدن‌هاي موجود مورد مطالعه قرار گرفته است.
چكيده لاتين :
The recognition of history and architecture of mosques can pave the way for understanding Islamic civilization. The Umayyad Mosque in Damascus is considered one of the masterpieces of the Islamic architecture, and knowing its history and architecture can be useful in shaping the Islamic civilization. This article has been written using a descriptive-analytical method and in the form of a qualitative study; and also it seeks to answer the question of what role did the evolutionary course of aesthetic and cognitive components at the level of "diachronic" and "synchronic" play in shaping the aesthetics of the structure of Islamic buildings, especially the Dome of the Rock and the Great Mosque of Damascus. The results show that some of the buildings of the early Islamic period were the result of the combination and retaliation of different cultures, and their aesthetics are multicultural. In this article, the history of building the Umayyad Mosque as one of the great works of the Islamic civilization and also the connection and relation of this great Islamic civilization with other existing civilizations has been studied.
