چكيده فارسي :
اين مقاله شرحي است بر كلام امام محمد باقر عليه السلام به جابربن يزيد جعفي، در باب اوصاف شيعيان. آن حضرت يكي ديگر از اوصاف شيعيان را جهاد با نفس با هدف غلبه بر تمايلات نفساني بيان مي‌كنند. هرچند دل‌خوش و راضي بودن به رضايت الهي و نگراني از آنچه خداي متعال بد مي‌داند، به ظاهر ساده است، اما تحصيل آن بسيار دشوار مي‌باشد. اگر انسان خداي متعال را دوست داشته باشد، آرزو مي‌كند كه خداي متعال نيز او را دوست بدارد. مؤمن در نبرد با نفس، گاه براي جلب رضايت خدا و در راه محبت او با هواي نفس مخالفت كرده و خود را از انحراف جلوگيري مي‌كند و البته گاهي هم ممكن است مغلوب نفس و خواسته‌هاي آن مي‌شود.
توصية تربيتي امام باقر عليه السلام اين است كه اگر مؤمن در مبارزه با نفس خود مغلوب شد، نبايد نااميد شود، بلكه بايد اميدوار بود و همه نيرو و توان خود را به كار گيرد تا بر آن چيره گردد. جلب رضايت الهي در همة امور، راز بندگي و تقويت ايمان و نيل به كمال است.
چكيده لاتين :
This paper is a commentary on the advices of Imam Mohammad Bagher (PBUH) to Jabir b. Yazid al-Ju’fi, one of his noble companions, regarding the characteristics of the real Shiites. On this account, another characteristic of the Shiites is “Jihad with the soul” to overcome the desires of the soul. Although seeking Divine pleasure and avoiding divine prohibitions seem to be simple, it is very difficult to obtain. If one loves God, seeks to attract the love of God, too. In the struggle with the soul, the believer opposes desires to avoid deviation and obtain the love of God, though he may sometimes be defeated. In his advice, Imam Bagher (PBUH) said, if a believer is defeated in the struggle with the soul, he should not be disappointed, rather, he should do his best to win over his desires. Satisfaction with God in all matters is the secret behind servitude and strengthening faith and attaining perfection.
