An Analysis of the Aspects of the Implication of the Conceptual Unity of Existence on the Unity of its Truth

اعتقاد به وحدت مفهومي وجود اعتقادي فراگير و مورد قبول همه فلاسفة اسلامي است. ايشان بر اين باورند كه وجود علي ‌رغم كثرت مشهود در عالم تحقق، داراي مفهومي واحد در ذهن است كه به ‌صورت مشترك بر همه مصاديق آن صدق مي‌كند. ضمن آنكه اغلب ايشان وحدت مفهومي وجود را دال بر وحدت حقيقت آن دانسته‌اند و حتي بعضي اعتقاد به بداهت اين دلالت دارند. البته وجوه متعددي بر دلالت وحدت مفهومي وجود بر وحدت حقيقت آن ذكر شده كه در اين مقاله به روش تحليلي ـ‌ توصيفي به اين وجوه خواهيم پرداخت.

The conceptual unity of existence is a universal belief accepted by all Islamic philosophers. They believe that existence, despite its apparent multiplicity in the realm of realization, has a single meaning in mind, which is common to all instances. Moreover, most of them have considered the conceptual unity of existence as indicating the unity of its truth and some even believe it to be obvious. Of course, several aspects have been mentioned on the implication of the conceptual unity of existence on the unity of its truth that this paper will deal with these aspects in an analytical and descriptive approach.
