آمار بالاي متوفيان و تلفات ناشي از تصادفات برون شهري، از مه مترين مشكلات پيش روي بهداشت عمومي و از علل اصلي مرگ و مير و مصدوميت در جهان است. هر سال نزديك به 2/ 1 ميليون نفر در جهان جان خود را از اين طريق از دست داده و عده زيادي هم دچار مصدوميتهاي مادا مالعمر ميشوند. عوامل مختلف مؤثر بر وقوع تصادفات برون شهري را ميتوان به سه دسته اصلي؛ -1 عوامل محيطي؛ 2- عوامل انساني؛ 3- عامل وسيله نقليه تقسيم كرد كه در اين ميان عوامل انساني به علت ارتباط نزديكتر با وقوع تصادف و اثرگذاري بيشتر بر كنترل آن و اثرگذاري بر وضع ترافيك بيشتر از ساير عوامل پتاسيل بررسي و تحقيق را دارد. در اين تحقيق سعي شده با بررسي برگه هاي كام كه توسط كارشناسان تصادف تكميل ميشود به تحليل آماري قربانيان تصادفات استان كرمانشاه اعم از نوع جرحي يا فوتي پرداخته شود. جامعه آماري مورد مطالعه تصادفات رخ داده از تير ماه سال 1391 تا پايان دي ماه سال 1393 به مدت 31 ماه است. پس از تعيين درصد سهم عوامل مختلف تصادف به بررسي ارتباط بين علت تامه تصادف با وضعيت آب و هوا، نوع راه، سن راننده مقصر، نحوه برخورد، وضعيت روشنايي، نوع تصادف و هم چنين بررسي ارتباط نوع تصادف و نوع برخورد با همان موارد ذكر شده قبلي پرداخته شد. در انتها روشن شد مه مترين عاملي كه احتمال وقوع تصادف فوتي را در بردارد عدم توجه به جلو و عدم توانايي در كنترل وسيله نقليه ناشي از تخطي از سرعت مطمئنه هستند
