هدف مقاله حاضر بررسي «عوامل اجتماعي گرايش جوانان به اعتياد و مصرف مواد مخدر صنعتي» است. در شكل‌گيري و روند پرونده‌هاي حقوقي عوامل متعددي نقش و دخالت دارند؛ يكي از اين عوامل كه به لحاظ حساس بودن وظايف و مأموريت‌هاي محول از اهميت بسزايي برخوردار است، بررسي جرم‌شناسي اعتياد و مصرف مواد مخدر صنعتي است. در اين تحقيق تلاش مي‌شود كه نخست مفهوم اعتياد روشن شود و آنگاه مصرف مواد مخدر صنعتي و ارتباط آن با پيشگيري از اعتياد و تكرار آن مشكلات به وجود آمده و اقدامات انجام‌شده براي امنيت جامعه، موردبحث و بررسي قرار گيرد.
