چكيده فارسي :
اين مقاله نقدي بر كتاب تاريخ اشكانيان در كتاب سالنامه، تاسيت است. با تطبيق نسخۀ انگليسي اثر The Annals by Tacitus و ترجمة فارسي آن به بررسي محتوا و ترجمۀ كتاب پرداخته شده است. نادر ميرسعيديِ مترجم، از ترجمة انگليسي متن مفصل لاتين اين اثر بخش‌هاي مربوط به تاريخ اشكانيان را برگزيده و به فارسي برگردانده است. نگارندگان مقاله تلاش كرده‌اند پس از معرفي متن اصلي كتاب و برخي ويرايش‌هاي مهم آن به زبان‌هاي غيرفارسي، به بررسي ترجمة ميرسعيدي و مقايسة آن با ترجمة انگليسي اثر پرداخته و با يادآوري ارزش كار ميرسعيدي به برخي نكات مغفول‌‌مانده در ترجمه اشاره كنند. فزون بر اين، نگارندگان بخش‌هايي از تاريخ اشكانيان در كتاب سالنامۀ تاسيت كه در ترجمة ميرسعيدي وارد نشده است را در نوشتار كنوني گنجانده‌اند. هرچند متني كه در ترجمة ميرسعيدي از قلم افتاده است عمدتاً مربوط به تاريخ معارضات گرجستان و ارمنستان است ولي در اين سرزمين‌ها خاندان‌هاي ايراني و اشكاني ايفاي نقش مي‌كردند كه تاريخ آن‌ها از تاريخ ايران اشكاني مستقل نبوده است.
چكيده لاتين :
The Roman historian Tacitus 's Book of Annals is an important historical source on the history of the Parthians and their neighbors. Although, the translator Mirsaʿidi's main focus is on the Roman history, but this book also has some very important mentions on the role of the Parthians and their subordinate lands he did not translate them. In this work, a comparative study was conducted between the original English version of the book and its Persian translation to examine the accuracy of the content of the Persian translation. The authors have tried to review the translation of the book after introducing the main gist of the book and some of its important non-Persian editions and subsequently comparing these translations with its English translation. This reminds the value and/or issues related with the work, along with emphasis on some neglected points in the Persian translation. The writers of this article have translated some parts of the book, which relates to Parthian history in Iberia and Armenia. Iranian and Parthian houses played an important role in these lands. However these parts are not in the Mirsaʿidi's translation, their history was in association with Parthian history in Persia
