The Political Realities of Social Science Research with Focusing on the book of Decolonizing Methodologies: Research and Indigenous Peoples

كتاب استعمارزدايي در روش در زمرۀ متون ضداستعماري با جهت گيري ­هايي نسبت به انسان­شناسي، تحقيق و علم به قلم تحرير درآمده است؛ از انسان­ شناسي تا تحقيق و علم تا زماني كه در بطن و گسترۀ حضور استعمار واقع شده بود، از منظر نويسندۀ كتاب نكوهش شده­ اند. شواهدي از تحقيقات غيرانساني استعمارگران بريتانيايي در نيوزيلند روي مائوري­ها در كتاب ارائه شده است. اين كتاب نشان مي­دهد بنا به مبارزات متعددي كه اهالي قبيله مائوري با استعمارگران، امروزه معناي و كاربرد تحقيق متفاوت از گذشته شده است و آنها با آغوش باز به استقبال تحقيق مي­روند.بنا به اين شواهد، آنچه مي­توان در مورد اين كتاب و در پاسخ به آن خاطرنشان كرد اين است كه متهم اصلي "تحقيق" نيست بلكه كشورگشايي­ها و جاه طلبي­ هاي اقتصادي و سياسي كشورهاي استعمارگر است كه نام تحقيق و انسان شناسي را تحت­ الشعاع خود قرار داده است. همواره مائوري­ها به طور خاص و پلينزي­ها به صورت كلي از منظر انسان­شناسان معرفي و شناسانده مي­شوند اين در حالي است كه در اين اثر اين موضوع وارونه شده است و اين زني از مائوري­ها است كه مي­نويسد و ثبت مي­كند و نظر و تحليل خود را در مورد گذشته و انسان­شناسي بيان مي­كند. اما در اين ميان آنچه كه مي توان در تكميل آثار اينگونه عنوان كرد نگاه به غرب و يا استعمار در راستاي شناخت آن از منظر مائوري است. اين مهم در آثار ضداستعماري كمتر مدنظر قرار مي­گيرد. بسندگي به نوشتن مائوري­ها از خودشان و زخم­هايشان در بهبود اوضاع دخيل خواهد بود اما به هر روي ما را بي­ نياز از شناخت غرب و استعمار از منظر دقيق و توجه به لايه­ هاي ذهني نمي­ كند.

The book of Decolonizing Methodologies: Research and Indigenous Peoples was written in anti-colonial texts with orientations toward anthropology, research, and science. From anthropology to science and research was blamed by writer because of using them by colonial system. The author claims that science, research and anthropology have contributed to colonization. Evidences of inhumane research by British colonists in New Zealand on the Maori is presented in the book.This book shows that, in the face of numerous struggles that the Maori tribes have made with the colonists, today the meaning and application of “research” have become different from the past, and they welcomed to “research” with open arms. According to the evidence, the main culprit is not "research" but the economic and political ambitions of the colonial countries that overshadow the name of research and anthropology.The Maoris always in particular and the Polynesians generally are introduced and identified from the perspective of foreign anthropologists, But in this book, she is a Maori woman who writes and records and expresses her opinion and analysis of the past and anthropology. In this book, is not to be seen anti-colonialist view of the West or colonialism in the light of their understanding of the Maori. This issue is less addressed in anti-colonial works. Writing about the Maori themselves and their wounds will help to improve the situation, but it does not require us to understand the West and colonize from a careful perspective and pay attention to the subjective layers.
