استعمال مواد مخدر و روانگردان يكي ازمظاهر انحطاط اخلاقي بشر است و باعث فساد جسم و عقل و ورود زيانهاي شديد فرهنگي و اقتصادي و اجتماعي به جامعه مي‌شود. در اين تحقيق با روش تحليلي و توصيفي و با مطالعه‌ي منابع فقهي و روايي و ادله‌ي قرآني حكم استعمال و خريد و فروش مواد مخدر را به خاطر درگير شدن بسياري از مردم در ايران به خصوص جوانان و تبعات ناگوار و در برخي موارد غير قابل جبراني را كه به دنبال دارد را مورد بررسي قرار داده است و نتايج به دست آمده حاكي از آن است كه قول اكثر فقها در مورد حكم استعمال و خريد و فروش مواد مخدر با توجه به آيات قرآني و روايات و قواعد فقهي مانند: قاعده حرمت مقدمه حرام، قاعده لا ضرر، قاعده نفي سبيل، حرمت مي باشد و بعضي ديگر از فقها هر چند حكم به حرمت اين موضوع داده‌اند ولي در موارد ضروري از جمله مسائل پزشكي آن را جايز مي‌دانند.

In this research, using an analytical and descriptive method and studying jurisprudential sources and narrative and Qur'anic evidence, the practice of using and buying narcotic drugs is due to the involvement of many people in Iran, especially the youth, and the adverse consequences, and in some cases Examines the irreparable thing that follows an‎d the results indicate that the majority of jurists promise to use drugs and to buy and sell narcotics according to Quranic verses and traditions and legal rules such as: the principle of respect for the forbidden introduction, the rule of law, the rule of neglect of mustache, an‎d some of the jurists, though they have given a verdict to this subject, but, in urgent cases, including medical matters, allow it.
