An Analysis of the Procedures of Separation of Soul from Body in the View of Mulla Sadra

هدف پژوهش حاضرتبيين مراحل انقطاع نفس از بدن از ديدگاه ابن­سينا و ملاصدرا است. روش پژوهش توصيفي-تحليلي بوده و نتايج نشان داد، هرچند تلاش ملاصدرا، گره­گشاي مسائل عديده‌اي چون اثبات عقلي معاد جسماني و درپي آن تصويري مناسب براي ديگر مسائل مي­باشد، لكن ايشان با تبيين و تبديل ماده به مجرد در انقطاع نهايي نفس از بدن، دچار نوعي ناسازگاري گرديده است. از سوي ديگر، در مرگ اخترامي بدن عامل اصلي معرفي شده است كه اين تعريف با تبيين ايشان از مرگ طبيعي همخواني ندارد. به نظر مي­رسد، مرز مشخصي بين مرگ طبيعي و اخترامي، ترسيم نشده است. كمال محض بودن خداوند و راه­يابي به سوي كمال و فعليت يافتن امور بالقوه تحت مشيّت و قضا و قدر الهي، علت مرگ مي‌باشند، كه عنايت به اين مسئله تبيين متقني در تكميل علت مرگ طبيعي و اخترامي است.

The purpose of the present study is to explain the procedures of separation of soul from body in the views of Avicenna and Mulla Sadra. The method of study was descriptive analysis, and the results showed that although Mulla Sadra has deciphered many philosophical arguments such as the rational proof for bodily resurrection and has presented suitable solutions for many other issues, he has fallen into a sort of paradox when he explains how corporeal is turned to incorporeal at time of final separation of soul from body. On the other hand, body is introduced as the main factor in the early death (Marg-e Ikhtirmai) while this definition is not compatible with his interpretation of the natural death. It seems that no distinct dichotomy has yet been shown between natural death and early death. The absolute perfection of God, achieving excellence, and fulfilling one’s potentials under the divine predestination are among some causes of death that can definitely complete the causes mentioned for natural and early death.
