بابا‌افضل كاشاني؛ فيلسوفِ آگاهي و خرد و بيداري

Baba Afzal Maraghi Kashani; Philosopher of Vigilance, Wisdom and, Awakening (With a Glance at His Life and Works)

افضل‌الدين كاشاني از فيلسوفان بزرگ ايران در قرون ششم و هفتم هجري است كه درست همچون سهروردي، با پيوند ميان فلسفه و شهود، منظومه‌اي حكمي‌فلسفي خلق كرد كه تنها بر پايۀ خرد خشك و مجرد فلسفي استوار نبود، بلكه مبتني بر «آگاهي و خرد روشني و بيداري» بود و دقيقاً از درون چنين منظومه‌اي، تأكيد فراوان به «خودشناسي» و روشنگري در باب ماهيت خويشتن آدمي، خلق شد. ميراث فكري و رساله‌هاي به‌جاي‌مانده از بابا‌افضل از جهات متعدد داراي اهميت و قابل مطالعه است؛ از جمله وسعت و گستردگي دانش و اطلاعات او در حوزه‌هاي فلسفۀ اسلامي، فلسفۀ يوناني، ادب، اخلاق، فلسفۀ سياسي، آموزه‌هاي عرفاني و حتي فرهنگ ايران باستان؛ زبان ساده، صريح و عاري از مفاهيم و اصطلاحات پيچيده و انتزاعي عصر و استفاده از لغات و برابر‌نهاد‌هاي پارسي در مقابل واژگان تازي؛ توجه فراوان به شيوۀ درست انديشيدن و مباني حكمت و كاربستِ گسترۀ تام فضايل و اخلاق نيك در زندگي. نگارنده در اين مقاله كوشيده است با تكيه بر مصنفاتِ باباافضل، به تحليل سه بن‌مايۀ «آگاهي، خرد و دانش» از ديد اين حكيم كاشاني بپردازد و نشان دهد كه اين سه فرهنگ‌واژه، ضمن ملازمه و ارتباط تنگاتنگي كه با يكديگر دارند، با عناصري چون غفلت و تيرگي و مردگي در تقابل كامل‌اند. نتيجۀ تحقيق نشان ‌مي‌دهد كه در مصنفات، «حكمت و فضيلت» دو روي يك سكه‌اند كه به «حقيقت» ختم ‌مي‌شوند.

Afzal al-Din Kashani is one of the great philosophers of Iran in the sixth and seventh centuries (A.H) who, just like Suhrawardi, created a philosophical system with connecting philosophy and intuition, which was not based only on abstract wisdom and pure philosophy, but also on "enlightened vigilance and wisdom”. It was precisely from such a system that a strong emphasis on "self-knowledge" and enlightenment about the nature of self as a human was created. The intellectual heritage and treatises of Baba Afzal are important and worthy of studying in many ways; Including: the extent of his knowledge and information in different fields of Islamic philosophy, Greek philosophy, literature, ethics, political philosophy, mystical teachings and even antient Iranian culture ; Simple language, explicit and free from complex and abstract metaphors and concepts of the era, and the use of Persian words and equivalents instead of Arabic ones; Paying close attention to the right way of thinking and the fundamentals of wisdom and the full application of virtues and good morals in life. this article tries to analyze the three motifs of "vigilance, wisdom and knowledge" from Baba Afzal’s point of view, based on his writings; and to show that these three terms, while being closely related to each other, are in complete contrast with elements such as negligence, obscurity, and death. The result of this research shows that in Kashani’s work, "wisdom and virtue" are two sides of the same coin which lead to "truth".
