چكيده فارسي :
تخمين دگرگوني‌هاي شهرها فرداي بهتري را ممكن مي‌سازد. در شناخت سازمان فضايي و كالبدي شهر، علاوه بر بررسي كالبدي آن، نحوه ارتباط اين عناصر در يك مجموعه منسجم و هدف‌مند مد نظر است. پديده جهاني شدن با ايجاد دگرگوني در ابعاد مختلف زندگي به‌ويژه پراكندگي آمايشي معماري شهرها، شكاف در بعد خانواده و فرهنگ جوامع و اعتقادات مذهبي و رسوم آييني، مسئله‌اي است كه خواه ناخواه نمي‌شود آن را ناديده گرفت.
جهاني شدن داراي اثراتي مثل نابرابري اجتماعي، عدم توافق و انطباق سنت و مدرنيته، نرخ بالاي رشد جمعيت و هجوم براي شهرنشيني، شتاب در روند تخريب محيط زيست و ناديده گرفتن تناسب و تراكم آمايش سرزمين است. در اين پژوهش كه با رويكردي كاربردي انجام گرفته است تلاش است چالش‌هاي جهاني شدن را در ابعاد اقتصادي و اجتماعي و اثرات آن را در ابعاد كالبدي- فضايي كلان‌شهر شيراز طي دهه اخير مورد بررسي و تحليل قرار دهيم.
نوع اين پژوهش به لحاظ هدف كاربردي- نظري و به لحاظ روش توصيفي - تحليلي و با استفاده از مطالعات انجام شده وسيع اسنادي و كتابخانه‌اي- ميداني است كه بر اساس اين پژوهش مشخص شد كه فرايند جهاني شدن در پراكندگي و گستردگي نمادهاي جهاني شدن مثل هتل‌ها و مراكز اقامتي يا فرهنگ‌سراها و سينماها با عدم استفاده بهينه روبرو بوده و حتي فرهنگ و نوع غذا خوردن و موارد استفاده از اين دست مثل قارچ گونه بودن فست‌فودها و بيرون‌برها به شدت تحت تأثير ناهماهنگ و ناصحيح جهاني شدن روبرو بوده است.

Estimating the way cities are being transformed leads to a better future. When understanding cities' physical and spatial organization not only does examining their physical structure but also the way such elements interact with each other in a united and goal-oriented complex is of high importance. Changing human lives in different aspects, particularly spatial distribution of architecture of cities, gaps in families, social culture, religious beliefs and customs, the phenomenon of globalization is an issue which cannot be ignored. Globalization yields effects such as: social inequality, disagreement and lack of compliance among tradition and modernism, high rate of population, and rush towards urbanization. In should be noted that the high pace of environmental devastation and neglecting density of spatial planning can be readily felt. Having been conducted with an applied approach to the problem, the present study aimed at examining challenged posed by globalization from social and economic dimensions as well as its impacts on metropolis Shiraz in physical-spatial aspects during the last decade. In terms of the research goal and research method, the study is of a applied-theoretical and descriptive-analytical one, respectively. Using a plethora of the related literature carried out through documentary and field-library methods, it indicated that the process of globalization has faced with distribution and expansion of globalization symbols like hotels, residential and cultural centers, cinemas not being used in an optimized way. Moreover, it was revealed that culture and the way people serve their meals and food including mushroom-like fast-foods and restaurants, have been severely affected by inappropriate and inconsistent process of globalization.
