On The Sense of Citizenship Security Resulted from Information-Seeking

هدف از اين پژوهش، معرفي رفتار اطلاع يابي و احساس امنيت شهروندي حاصل از اطلاع‌يابي مي‌باشد. احساس امنيت، موجب اعتماد به نفس شهروندان شده و در نتيجه به همان اندازه سرمايه انساني، شهروندان قادر خواهند بود در توسعه اقتصادي، اجتماعي، فرهنگي و سياسي نقش ضروري خود را انجام دهند. احساس نا امني موجب نابودي سرمايه انساني و اجتماعي مي‌شود و هم‌چنين باعث پيدايش و بروز ناهنجاري‌ها و آشفتگي‌هاي اجتماعي مي‌شود. داشتن اطلاعات كافي و به موقع، موجب آگاهي فرد در زمينه مورد نظر مي‌شود. از طرف ديگر فردي كه بتواند در جست‌وجوي اطلاعات و رفع نيازهاي اطلاعاتي خود توانمند باشد، مي‌تواند آگاهي خود را كه به‌ نوعي قدرت محسوب مي‌شود، در همه زمينه‌ها به‌كار ببرد؛ بنابراين داشتن رفتار اطلاع‌يابي مطلوب به‌ نوعي مي‌تواند امنيت و احساس امنيت شهروندي را در فرد بالا ببرد.

The present study was carried out with the purpose of introducing information seeking behavior and sense of citizenship security resulted from information seeking. Sense of security provides citizens with self-confidence and enables them to play their crucial role in the economic, social, cultural and political development as much as human capital does. In contrast, sense of insecurity devastates social and human capital and causes social abnormalities and chaos. So, being armed with sufficient and immediate knowledge and information increases one’s awareness of a certain context. On the other hand, as long as one is capable of searching for the necessary information and of satisfying his/her information-related needs, he/she will be able to employ the resulted awareness, which is a kind of power in itself, in all areas. Therefore, possessing favorable information seeking behavior can enhance one’s safety and sense of citizenship security.
