چكيده فارسي :
با توجه به فراگيري آموزش عالي بعنوان ثروت و سرمايه ملت‌ها و جوامع و نقش آن در اقتصاد دانش، موسسات آموزش عالي براي كاهش هزينه ها، ايجاد ارزش افزوده براي فايق آمدن بر رقباي خود، تحقق بخشيدن به انتظارات نوپديد ذينفعان دروني و بروني، تعامل با جامعه و جهان كار، ارتقاء مداوم كيفيت ياددهي و يادگيري و پژوهش و نيز پاسخگويي به افزايش تقاضا، به كيفيت آموزش توجه ويژه‌اي نموده‌اند.
كيفيت آموزش، از جمله دغدغه‌هاي اصلي نظام‌هاي آموزش عالي در اغلب كشورهاي جهان بوده است. برخي از كشورها در دو دهه اخير، از طريق ارزيابي مستمر، اين تشويش را كاهش داده و در جهت رفع آن كوشيده‌اند. از جمله كوشش‌هاي انجام شده مي‌توان به اجراي طرح‌هاي تضمين كيفيت در سطح ملي و نيز ايجاد ساز و كارهاي اعتبارسنجي منطقه‌اي و بين‌المللي اشاره كرد. هر چند كميت و كيفيت كوشش‌هاي ياد شده در كشورهاي مختلف متفاوت بوده، اما ميزان آنها به طور چشمگيري در سطح ملي و بين‌المللي در دهه اخير افزايش يافته است. در اين مقاله، ضمن اشاره به ضرورت، شاخص‌ها و راهكارهاي تضمين كيفيت در آموزش عالي ايران، به تجربه‌هاي بدست آمده در سطح بين‌المللي و كشورمان ايران اشاره گرديده است.

Due to the prevalence of higher education as the wealth and capital of nations and societies and its role in economy of knowledge, the institutes of higher education in order to reduce expenditures, development of added value for overpowering their opponents, realization of new expectations of the internal and external beneficiaries, cooperation with society and the labor market, improvement of teaching and learning quality as well as research and meeting the demands of an increasing audience, the quality of education has been highlighted. The quality of education is one of the main concerns for the systems of higher education in most countries of the world. Some countries in the past two decades, through constant analysis, have lessened this worry and tried to improve it. Among the efforts can be mentioned the acts for guaranteeing quality on a national level also realizing mechanisms to evaluate credibility in region and on an international level. Although quality and quantity of the said efforts are different across countries, they have all been boosted in all the countries. In this article, alongside the necessity, the indexes and the approaches to guarantee quality in higher education on Iran, international and national experiences will be mentioned.
